This is a beautiful rustic doorstop that will hold nearly any door in place. The handle makes this heavy stopper easy to move. I say nearly any door because despite being very heavy and nearly 5 pounds, it will not hold a garage fire door open so you can bring groceries in.Secondary use, my dog is addicted to it. I’ve bought this dog any kind of toy you can think of and by far the one thing HE LOVES to bring with him everywhere is this damn doorstop. The rope covering makes it easy to grip and fit some reason he likes the weight. He doesn’t use the handle he just picks the ball up whole. WARNING: Be careful when you tell your dog to “drop it”. While it looks far lighter than it should while being carried, the heavy THUNK of when it hits your floor will remind you under no certain terms, this is still a very heavy doorstop.So if you’re looking for a heavy toy your big dog to carry around this is a great multi-functional option.

My husband was using his running shoe to prop open the guest bedroom door in our Florida condo. The door kept closing when the wind would blow through the room. When I told him this doorstop was almost $20 he wasn't happy but we use it every day and it matches our beach theme in the room. It's cute and also keeps the door open. I am going to order another one in a brownish rope color for the front door. The one I got is more of a white rope color. No more embarrassing, singular running shoe as the first thing you see when entering our home!

Bought this as a gift to be a cute door stopper. Nice weight to it. I attached a photo with it next to my remote for size comparison. A little smaller than I thought it was going to be but it’s still a nice size!

Purchased to hold my front door open for my cat. My cat loves to sit and day dream about being outside (she is an indoor cat) but anytime the backdoor also gets opened it slams the front door (almost on my cat a few times). I consider this to have saved her life several times already, haha! Also, because its wrapped in soft yarn like rope my cat also occasionally uses it as a cat scratch, bonus!!!

This weighted rope door stop is perfect for our needs. We have a door with a tight spring and was using a cement block that was made into a snowman. It was heavy and awkward to pick up and fell over and scratched through the protective surface if our bamboo flooring. We needed the door propped open so our cat could get to the laundry room when the cleaners were here. They sometimes slide the hall door closed. When we want to move it, we just grab the handle and since it’s weighted rope it doesn’t fall over to scratch the floor. We highly recommend it snd so does our cat. He actually runs through the opening now. Probably did before and knocked the other one over lol. It’s great!

I have a couple of doors I need to be able to keep the vacuum cleaner from closing or that don't stay open quite all the way without something holding them. I bought one in navy and one in cream and they're both awesome.Just enough weight for a house door (do NOT expect these to work with heavy commercial doors) but can be quickly kicked aside if you need to close a door to take a phone call.This is not going to scuff your wood floor like some other doorstop options too.I like the look of the cream one a bit better than the navy but they're both good looking. The rope handle on top is useful but mostly I kick them into place and away. Looks nice sitting near the front door when it's closed even. Definitely better looking than the kettlebell I was using before. Thought the kettlebell was a workout to move it so I'm now missing that.

My front door has a solid 2 inch gap between the floor. This is perfect. It's heavy enough to keep the door in place and doesnt slide on my smooth tile floors. Would have never thought to use something like this but I'm glad I came across it in my amazon search.

Excellent Weight for a Doorstop, plus quite easy to place, and move around. My only [minor] Complaint is that the Handle on the Unit sent to me, is positioned 'off-center' from the Main Body....

Un poco caro, pero bonito y funcional. Compré dos para mantener una puerta de cristal abierta en ángulo. Se pueden mover a un lado con el pie, o levantar por la agarradera. Se adaptan a cualquier tipo de ambiente y decoración.
