Q: To mount these to a Biedermeier style fence do you need to drill and tap the fence?

That is one way. But I did it a different way. I followed a youtuber’s idea and mounted the track to a board that attaches to the fence with two 150 lb Magswitches. Seems secure and is easily removed.

Q: will this track fit a Dewalt compact 10 table saw DWE7480

Not as is. I made an adapter to fit over my Dewalt factory fence and screwed the track to the adapter. That way I didn't have to put holes in the fence.

Q: Can t bolts be used with these tracks if I want to mount other jigs to my fence ?

I suppose but it be a wider gap so you may need to fashion them from carriage bolts
