Good Earth Lighting 18-inch Xenon Light Bar, White

I purchased this product a few years ago and would have rated it 5 stars. The bulb life has been long but it is nearly impossible to find the replacement bulbs for a companion unit which I also purchased--same model but completely different bulb. At the time I purchased from Amazon they offered both units as a pair. If you are interested in this type of lighting, make certain you can find the correct base for the small xenon bulbs. When the bulbs finally burn out you may find they are not easy to replace. I have had this unit for 4 years and I keep it on 24/7. The unit with 3 bulbs I easily found replacement bulbs for but the companion 2 bulb unit, amazingly had very different xenon bulbs --and I have not been able to locate replacement bulbs for 3 years.

I like the styling, the compact design, and the amount of light emitted. I do not like the heat generated by this instrument. It borders on being unsafe,being tucked under a cabinet. I would not be comfortable leaving this light on for more than a few hours. Sort of disappointing but not enough to complain.

It looked good and liked silver finish on an old favorite. Unfortunately, after installation, the bulbs quickly expired. In less than one month I was down to one of 3 and it kept tripping my breaker box. Finally it blew. Total life....less than 3 months. Replaced with LED lamp.

It is nowhere near the appearance of Nickel, it looks more like cheerleader glitter. I would only use these if they were going to be covered up.

We will probably get a couple more.The lens easily slides out for bulb changes or cleaningUnless I looked at it wrong, the template for the mounting holes is way off, I am glad I checked. I used the unit as a guide for the holes.It would be nice if the light came without the plug attached, I bought a plug locally and shortened the cord.

Bought 1/18 dead on 10/1. Will attempt to return, it says it has a 3 year warranty. The one that it replaced, I bought at Lowes and it lasted 9 years.

I have installed this and it gives great diffused lighting where I need it. I am glad that I read a previous review on this explaining that the template for screw placement that it comes with is wrong. Because it is! The template says 16 inches but the template itself is 13.75 inches. 16 inches is the correct distance you want to use between the set screws. So use a ruler, not the template that it comes with! Once I got it up it looks and works fine.

I had a GE product for about ten years that gave out and needed the same profile and this one was it. Shopped all over, at the original big box hardware store, and they did not have it. But right here on Amazon, I found it, and it works perfectly. A simple swap out and it was installed in the place of the old one.
