Makes cooking hamburger meat easier

I have purchased two of these for myself and 4 more for family members. They are SO helpful and useful for breaking up meat and vegetables. Not only just for Instant Pot use--I use when cooking with skillets as well. Wish these had been available years ago!

I have both this item and a 5-blade masher, and I prefer this one with 4 blades--especially when working with meat (pork, beef, chicken)1) Four blades cut better and apply 20% more cutting/mashing force than the 5 blades2) Meat doesn't get as packed into the crevice with the 4 straight blades as with the 5 curved blades3) Less food attaches to the 4 straight blades--less waste, easier to clean.BOTTOM LINE: I haven't used the 5-bladed masher since.

This thing is perfect for breaking up your ground beef or ground meat, but that’s about it. You can’t really stir up anything very very well with this. You have to use a different spoon.

This is my second IP brand cooking utensil, after the ladle, and I continue to be impressed. They should last a long time.

I love this utensils for sautéed foods and meats. No more clumps and lumps.
