I looked at more that a few filters and decided on this one as my water source is a natural spring direct from the side of the mountain. I have no pump or holding tank, just the water flowing from mother earth. Some of the reviews say that it clogs and reduces water pressure. I got to thinking that maybe there is something in the water that's causing it to clog so I decided to use a filter washer between the water hose and the filter inlet. The experiment worked!About a month into the filter installation, I noticed a drop in water pressure. The next day, I barely got a trickle of water from the kitchen sink! I unscrewed the water line and noticed that the filter washer was full of sentiment. (I wasn't surprised as the spring hasn't been used in over 10 years) I cleaned out the filter washer, and everything was back to normal! The washer needs to be cleaned from time to time, depending on the rainfall and spring level, but the filter itself provided good clear, odor free water. It's worth the occasional inconvenience to have nice fresh cold water in the RV!I'll buy another 2 pack of filters, just to have them on hand

Product worked. Quite a bit of black carbon did flush out on initial setup. I feel the item can easily be cross threaded though as this almost happened when installing at camp ground. I think a stiffer plastic should e used on the threaded area as it seemed very easy to cross. Overall great product though

These are amazing! They cost so much less than another brand we use and they work exactly the same.

Got these to use for the hose that waters the livestock. So many mineral deficiencies due to well water being "hard". Since in use, the animals drink more water and require fewer minerals.

Stocking up on water filters for the upcoming RV season. These have been great, especially getting 2 hose adapters. Easy to install and water taste fine regardless of the different water hookups that you might come across.

This is a very good filter for camping sites. It always makes the water clean and taste good. I sure recommend these to any one who is not sure of the quality of your water supply.

Sometimes parks don't take good care of the property. This will filter out that bad care and bad water. Never go to a park without a filter to hook up. You won't be sorry.
