Combat Ant Killing Bait, 6 Count

This was the only product which worked in killing the (imported South American) fire ants which infested my kitchen. It contains the chemical "hydramethylnon". So many expensive products claim to kill fire ants, which do not deliver. Look for hydramethylnon on the product label. It can take up to 3 weeks to kill the colony, but the ants never return. Whilst waiting, use just about any ant bait to slow them down. This is a Fabulous product which does work as advertised.

These seem to work. They've gotten rid of the ants. One star reserved due to the relative cost. Some less expensive brands might also work as well.

This is the only product that seems to knock out the Carpenter ants.

We were having issues with ants in our kitchen. We have a puppy and the ants would find her kibble. It was hard to leave her for even a couple hours because the ants would return to go after her food that we would leave out. I put the bait along the back of the counter and put a bit of kibble in various places. Sure enough they came for that. There was a steady stream for a while and then they all went away. My neighbors are still fighting their ant issues. These seem to have done the trick. My two neighbors are spending a lot of money on exterminators and my issue is solved.
