very nice
Was skeptical but it is a great value. Plenty of room for my gear. I'm right handed but the sling does not interfere with casting, and it is comfortable to wear. The belt is plenty longfor my 34" waist. The net holster was too small for my net handle, so I stretched it out by forcing a 1.5" pipe into hole - worked well. Not sure how the zippers will hold up but they look ok. Would recommend.

A LOT for the money
Cost was low, but this bag has features and quality of a more expensive item. Pockets, compartments galore of every size and shape. Good stitching, sturdy material, thoughtful design, solid in every respect. MUCH more than I expected. Top notch. Recommend!

Portable solution for Stripers
It seems to have it all. Comfort, function, capacity and build quality. I tried 3 times to find the right solution to my strped bass addiction. This one fit the bill. I can jump on a bike and have everything I need strapped effortlessly to my body. The rod is strapped to my bike... It's seems very well made and functionally designed. Perfect.EDIT, after a few outings:The zippers are prone to seizing. I have applied a specialized zipper wax to counteract the effects of salty air. I removed one star, as better zippers would be ideal.

Outstanding!
As all knows, nothing is perfect. This hip pack works great for me! The only downside is I only wish they had a fly patch to hang lures or flies that is used or going to be used. There is so much room in this pack that I can carry almost every thing I need. I also have a main pack that I have in case I need to add or subtract want I need for the day! The investment is bar none a great investment!

A very good bag especially at its price point
I was looking for a heavy duty, large waist pack, and when I came across this bag I was very pleasantly surprised very high quality materials high quality as a person plenty of space heavy duty construction. This bag is good for fishing in tackle, but it also very convenient for caring small and or heavy items. I personally use it when I go to flea markets for small to medium items and that's a tool bag in the field for basic set of hand tools.

Great Shoulder Pact Except !
Great should sling but the waist belt is not big enough for a big man. I’m 6’2” and weigh around 245. The belt at most is for a 34 waist. My wife had to do some extension sewing work on the belt and it’s great. I have more than enough room for my fly gear and spinning gear. I take a colossal e spinning rod that mounts in the pack and added a fly rod holder on the belt. With the pack and belt connected it’s super comfortable. But be prepared if you have a waist bigger than 34, because you’re going to have to do some extending work on the belt. They should tell you the waist size when you buy it or add a larger adjustable web belt.

Built a belt extension. Shoulder strap alone was not good.
Gave it four stars because Amazon rarely displays anything lower. Stars are not the issue with this. Belt size is. I'm a larger than average man, 50 inch waste. Knew the odds of this belt circling my girth were small. Would have been nice to have the belt be a bit longer, but by now we're all pretty much used to things from 'there' being a bit smaller than things made for people from here. Sad commentary on our state of health, but, I AM striving to eat more fish!Built a belt extension. Luckily I have a sewing machine that is built for leather, and thick material. #16 needle and some heavy duty thread. Bought a yard of 2" stretch webbing and a set of 2" buckles. Cut one side of the pouch buckle off and replaced it with the new one, Then built a new extension belt using the stretch webbing and the other buckle pieces. Sitting and walking around at home it works, we'll see about walking around the lake and sitting in the kayak over the next few weeks. Yes, to fit a 50 inch waste, you'll need a long piece of belt material. I used the stretch kind for comfort, also the non-stretch seemed weak.

A perfect tactical bag for salt & fresh water, trout and kayak fishing.
I wanted a wading belt solution for certain fly fishing situations I experience and looked hard at a high end fly fishing system at $120. It offered more sturdiness and lumbar support but the price point was a bit of a stretch. So, I went with this belt to see if it would work. It appears to fit more needs than I’d considered! I’ve used it basically salt water surf fishing so far and cannot wait to test it for fly fishing and kayak fishing in ways I had not initially thought of. For half the price of the only other solution I found…excellent quality and value! I’ll hopefully provide an update with video or pics for the additional uses In my spare time while I’m not fishing 😎

Bought for a different purpose!
The media could not be loaded. I'm obsessed with this bag. I'm a makeup artist and bought it not for fishing but as a set bag to carry some must haves that I don't have to unpack everytime I have a different job. It has so many pockets and sections and even elastics and Velcro straps to hold different spray bottles and such. It allows me to stay super organized. Also there's a waist strap and a neck strap which allows the weight to better be distributed across my body. I love love this bag! Amazing quality too.

Eventually the waist support ripped
Convenient and easy to put on your waist. But after a few uses the seam gave in and ripped. Can't return it now so I am stuck with an unusable bag. I guess you will have yo spend more for a better quality one.
