Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles Pack of 12

OMG this candy is so good. Black currant is one of the flavors and is sublime.

When I was a kid, relatives from England used to send us candy and Rountrees Fruit Pastilles were a favorite. I was so excited to find them available on Amazon and have ordered them several times. Now I have my kids hooked on them! It takes a while to get them and the box is always a little beat up but it's always a treat to get the candy, it's kind of sweet and sour at the same time. The cost is very reasonable for 12 rolls of candy. Hope they are always available!

My British husband grew up eating these as a kid and was always talking about how much he love them so I was happy to find these on Amazon. I highly recommend the 12 pack of the rolls (I believe it's the best deal). The only downside was that it took a long time to get here, understandable since my box said it came from Ireland. But they got here just in time for Valentine's Day so it all worked out. And now my little sons and I all enjoy them and with 12 rolls, my husband can share! :)

I discovered these sugar coated fruit flavored gummy candies on a trip to Europe last year. I had some extra cash that I was trying to use up at a shop at Heathrow and these looked good for the flight back to the US. They are delicious, have a really nice texture and the fruit flavors are wonderful. I have found them in the odd British import shop, but felt like the price for a dozen rolls was worth the effort. Plus, I love having something on order to look forward to.

EDIT:(original review at the bottom)I was ordering these sometimes twice a week(4 brits in one house), and I thought lovely $11.75 for x12 rolls. And they weren't stale or hard but decent, especially for the fair price. Then the price went to $12.99 which at that point I thought "won't be long till they price me out". Sure enough at around $14.99 my dad convinced me to just go for it, even though I didn't want to feed into the price gouging. Now they are $23 or more for a 12 pack. Takes the p!ss amazon, you monopolizing, greedy sods. Probably 20 pence a roll in the UK, yeah it is, x4 for £1. Sell them for $1.25ea or heck even $1.50(which I'd still not pay that much) . Money doesn't grow on everyone's trees, amazon. Gunna blame it on the bloody suez canal bs?! Oh or a pandemic? in which price gouging is a crime? Smfh and all I wanted were my weekly sweets! 🤣😭Original review:Flawlessly done. Fruit pastels are normal and good quality, not the softest obviously but not that hard either. For the price I will definitely be back! Ate all 12 between three people in less 48hrs! LoL

Ate these candy as a kid, they are still terrific, not like any other for flavor!
