So I bought this dress to wear when I am performing in a professional choir. While it looks exactly like the photo, on my body it’s just meh. I can’t put my finger on why. It’s very comfortable and seems well made, and I’ll keep it because I need more things to wear onstage but it’s just ok. It’s not the dress’s fault, I just don’t think it’s suited for my body for some reason. I’m a 12/14, 36DD and ordered an XL, which I think is the right size for me. I’m about 5 foot 6 with short legs, and I don’t think I’ll have to hem it. It’s good enough to not get sent back, but it definitely isn’t my go-to black maxi dress.

I was concerned about the sizing when I ordered the dress but I am glad to say it arrived today and fits perfectly. I am a plus size woman and typically wear 16W or 18W depending on the brand. Based on their size chart I ordered the 2X and it fits great. I ordered the royal blue and the color is beautiful and the dress is very slimming. I am 5'6 and the slit hits a little above my knee. I do have to say if you are a large busted lady (i am a 40C), you might want to size up. But for me the size was just right. I will try to add some pictures later. Hope this long review helps.

I purchased this dress to wear at a wedding in Koh Phangan, Thailand - I was looking for something that would be classy and elegant but also cover my upper arms and be decent in 88-degree, humid weather. I am 5'2" and usually wear a size M or L, but when it comes to loose clothing I can usually get away with a small. The dress arrived quickly, and I was very pleased: the color was vibrant, the v-neck is perfectly low but not too revealing, and the dress is long enough to wear with small heels or wedges...but since I'm wearing it to a beach wedding, I'll probably get it hemmed a little bit so I can wear it with flat sandals. However, if you're taller than 5'4" or 5'5", the dress will probably hit you on your shin. I think this is better for shorter ladies. The sleeves are incredibly flattering, and the waistband helps give me an hourglass shape (and is stretchy enough to still look great if I lose weight). The slit is the same as the model photo - right above the knee, not too high but enough to give some interest and let some air in. This dress will look great with some statement jewelry - either a dramatic necklace or long, dangly earrings. I think the material will travel well and not wrinkle, either; it's a medium-weight polyester. I am very happy with this purchase.

I wear a plus size 30/32 and this did fit true to size. However the material is thin (white was see through) so you definitely need shapewear underneath if you want a smooth look. I'm 5'7" and dress was dragging on the floor without heels.

I love this dress l wore it to my nephew's wedding. I'm 5'5, 295 pounds & apple shaped. For me the dress was about 3 inches too long but with 3 inch wedges it was perfect. I also used fashion tape to close the bust some.

I received my dress at a very decent time. I tried it on to be sure it fit just right. Omg I love the way it looks. I am 5'5 and it fit perfect. Not too long not too short. I will be wearing this dress on my upcoming cruise in Sept 2016. With wedges it looks sexy , comfortable yet classy. The split on the side sexy. Shows little cleavage ( just the right amount ). I am very pleased with this dress. And size is just right. Being heavy on top ( 38DD ) XL fits perfect. I am looking forward to wearing it soon. Thank you so much. I am happy.

This dress was exactly what all other reviewers have said. Light, comfy, flowy. Will buy other colors.

I got an XL as I am a size 14 right now. The waist just fits exactly right, but when I took it off, I did hear some threads snapping. The fabric is thin and flimsy. There is no liner, just one layer of fabric. The stitching is flimsy. However, it does not look sloppy. You can't see underwear lines or rolls. It does not make you look fat. There is a lot of fabric in the arms, as I don't have big arms, but it doesn't look awkward. I'm 5'4" and the dress is barely above the floor in heels. If I wear flats, I may have to hem slightly. The color is just right. Overall, I'm pleased. This is a bridesmaid dress. I might add a sparkly brooch to the waistband.
