Sweet little sling!
Sweet little sling! I got it for my Chiappa M1-22. I had seen many reviews on the M1 slings not fitting the M1-22 so I was sceptical. Although really tight, the oiler, with the sling around it, did go into the slot. With some significant pull force, I may add. Once in the slot the oiler and sling are free enough to make adjustments. It really adds to the nostalgia and is quite functional. Down sides are few but there are some worth a mention. The oiler has no O ring so don't put oil in it until you get one. The snap seems a little loose but seems to hold. Carrying it for some time will see if the snap holds up. This little sling is worth the little bit of money it cost, without a doubt.

This is a must have accessory if you own an M1 Carbine! I have new Inland M1 and this is a perfect fit.

Fit Perfectly
Fit my WWII 1943 carbine perfectly. Good quality. The snap brad on the back side was a little rough so I sanded off the burrs. Also sewed a cloth patch over the brad to prevent it from rubbing on the wood forearm and scaring it. Looks sharp. Also would recommend going on YouTube and get an instruction video "How to Install M1 Carbine Sling."

Arrived quickly and has authentic look.
Arrived quickly. Fits well onto my Inland M1 Carbine. Has authentic look, and appears to be sturdy. Does not appear to work well for shooting support, but trying to use any sling for shooting support on the M1 Carbine probably interferes with the barrel anyway.

M1 Carbine Sling
Its a sling. It slings slingily. Looks right on the carbine. Still haven't found a use with the oiler, it leaks with modern oil and I'm not using grease, its 2024.
