thicker plastic than most, not so stable on uneven soft surfaces
So i've had a few of these, its not the most stable stand i've owned but the plastic tray that clips onto the tablet is strong. All the others i've had were thinner and the corners would eventually snap. So far this one is lasting so i'm cautiously hopeful. I've gotten used to how this one holds together as a stand and i'm a little more careful with it than the old one. I will say, when it falls over it normally falls onto the back not the face of the tablet so there's that. It's not gonna stand up well on duvet etc though so if you're a table in bed person, like me, be warned :)
