These things are big! I didn’t read the item description but I’m still overly pleased with this product. Normally I’m skeptical about using markers that are provided in kits because I’m unsure about how they will perform or the vibrancy of the colors when they dry. I really liked the color assortment and decided to give them a chance and was pleasantly surprised on how well they worked on this material. The butterfly was easy to assemble without instruction but a child might want to use them. You have to be slightly careful when taking the pieces out of the board after coloring because there’s a chance you might accidentally slightly rip the paper that’s on top on the inner foam structure of the puzzle. It took me a lot longer than expected to finish coloring but I was super excited when I was done and was able to build the butterfly. I loved the whole experience creating this. They also seem very sturdy, there is no looseness in the “joints” and you don’t need glue or anything to keep it from falling apart; it’ll stay together on its own. Highly recommended for children or adults trying to pass the time or keep busy.

I was impressed with how sturdy the pieces were. I was helping 5 year old grandchildren and some pieces were a little challenging. I think kids who are a little older could do this on their own.

This product is easy to assemble and fun for kids to color!

Good toy for play. Okay quality for the price. Only thing is the design. Hard for coloring. Because hard to see where is the pieces on the board. I bought this and also The other brand. I took pictures for Both of them. The one I circled was this brand. The other brand was about $20. But totally worth it !

No instructions on how to put the pieces together

These were well received by my 9 & 5year olds. My 9yo enjoyed the intricate coloring which my 5yo just refused to even try to color within the lines. My 9yo independently assembled hers and my 5yo needed help (and I needed to read the directions to accurately assemble).

These do not go together easily. Seems like a manufacturing issue. And, contrary to instructions, you have to color before putting together because they are so fragile. My 9 year old was super excited when she saw the box. Quickly rejected this craft, however, when trying to put together the first animal.
