My daughter had a dress in class colour day which is brown ( my 8yr old autistic daughter refused to wear any other colour except purple or pink) so this dress was perfect...it actually looks purple in the light so was able to cover school and daughter. I was quite surprised with how lovely this dress is. It's more brown/gold with glitter interwoven with purple under skirt. As it was still a bit chilly I teamed it with some black shiny leggings and white trainers. My daughter looked fab

Though pretty but not all that quality.

Lovely dress however had to order a size 10-11 for my tall 8 year old. I usually have to size up but not normally 2 sizes. No problems returning for a larger size though.
