Pine Sawdust Fine Texture for Pinkeeps Pin Pillows Doll Stuffing and Wood Filler, Quart or Gallon Bag, Clean Dry Chemical Free, Sifted (Quart Bag)

This is the texture I wanted, so it's great. I am making flocking for terrain models and 28mm model bases, so it just needed to be dry, fine, and reasonably priced. A little goes a long way and I did not see any point to making my own when I'd have to get a coffee or spice grinder for over $20 in order to do it. This was a much more economical approach for someone like me who does not need to have a lot of flocking. One thing that did annoy me was that the shipping packaging was ridiculous. They shipped in a plastic bag. Just slapped the label on the actual product, as near as I can tell, but there might be a second bag on top. I have not needed to open it yet, so I have not closely examined it. I also object because it is nobody's business what I am ordering, even if it is just sawdust.

I made pressing hams and sleeve rolls sized for making doll clothes. The fine grain sawdust packed nice and tight. I had hoped to order more but settled for the medium grain which will also work for this project.

Product is very fine and clean - almost like flour. I prefer the fine sawdust over medium version when using to make dolls as it can be stuffed firmly and gives a more "antique" dense feel to the dolls.
