Good but not as good as The Nightingale.Judith

It was a good read, emotional, a story about a tried and true friendship. I would recommend.

Loved this story! As with all Kristin Hannah's stories she sucks you in with her perfectly developed characters. She makes you feel as if these are your friends and family that she is describing. You get emotionally involved with her characters, to the point of tears and laugh out loud joy! She has quickly become my favorite author!

Well considering I thought I ordered the book but ended up with the audio book it was good It was an easy one to listen too. I liked the Nightengale better but this story kept my interest

From start to finish I could identify with so many of the characters and era. A great coming of age moving into adulthood and beyond.

Almost half way through the book and I'm giving up. I loved The Nightingale but this is horrible. Poorly written, characters I could not care less about and so many 70s and 80s references I feel like I'm reading an episode of "I love the 70s." Awful.

Love it!

I just found Kristin Hannah .. and I love her writing .. very well done..
