Bee & FlowerSoaps - Sandalwood - Case of 4 - 4.4 oz.

This soap smells great but is very drying. Good hand soap but not great for body.

I have been buying Sandalwood soap since the 1970's. I what the oil smells like and can tell when lesser qualities are being used. Unfortunately this is one of those times. I had high hopes as it has gotten much harder to find soap where the Sandalwood predominates and is clearly 'woodsy and fresh'. To me ...this is a fail. I will not buy this again -ever. I can tell there is some Sandalwood in there but it is a small quantity and significantly overpowered by the 'Bee and Flower' oils."Due to its high price and scarcity, sandalwood oil is often adulterated. The most common adulterants are the essential oils of other species of sandalwood, copaiba oil, Atlas cedar fractions and amyris oil. Another type of adulteration that occurs is called "stretching," where odorless solvents are added to sandalwood oil in order to increase its quantity.Sandalwood oil must be aged at least six months in order to fully develop its sweet, woody, sensual aroma. After that its fragrance continues to improve slowly with age, so sandalwood can be stored indefinitely in a dark, airtight glass container."That's what i am used to 'sweet and woody'. This has almost none of this. I will not buy again. I suggest avoiding this brand if you enjoy and want real Sandalwood.

We love the scent of sandalwood and these are nice sized bars. One in each bathroom and even on in the kitchen!

It's ok soap, with a mild fragrance, made in China. I bought it to fill out an order, but it's not as good as Caswell-Massey Woodgrain Soap, 5.8 Oz , 3 Count, for $10 more. It lasts longer and is much more fragrant. I wouldn't buy it again.

This is by far the best soap on the planet. The terrific scent last all day long.

While on Hawaii Island, this soap was in a B&B we stayed in and my wife really enjoyed the soap and the scent of sandalwood. I needed a gift just for the fun of it and found this. She was very pleasantly surprised.

I love this soap. It gets me clean and washes away easily. I uven wash my hair with it and it leaves it nice and soft. I have used this for years, and save money by ordering it from Amazon. It smells wonderful too.
