Teddie All Natural Old Fashion Smooth Peanut Butter (Pack of 3)

This Peanut Butter is so good, it reminds me of old-fashioned peanut butter, it's much more natural. The same product sold in the plastic jars are not the same and don't taste the same. This is very hard to find in the glass jar. So if you want quality Peanut butter buy this but only in the glass jar.

This is only peanut butter….no added junk! It separates like all natural peanut butter. I store jars upside down so oil is on top. When it is time to use new jar, I use bread hook attachment on my hand mixer to mix oil back into peanut butter (just mix in jar, holding jar tightly!). It mixes just fine and does not separate again. You do need to use your knife as you get to the bottom to even out thicker peanut butter but no oil again. Flavor of this peanut butter is outstanding. My kids grew up on Jif and were not interested in Teddies until they tasted it….Real Peanut taste!We don’t use anything else now !

I bought this item because it was pictured in a glass Jar and I am trying to avoid plastic packaging as much as possible. I received three plastic jars. I will not be purchasing this peanut butter again.

I've been making my own peanut butter for years after moving away from New England where Teddie's was readily available and I grew tire of making it and cleaning my food processor. Coincidentally a review of "top peanut butters" popped up in my feed and peanut butter co's was at the top of the list. I ate at their NYC location years ago and decided to buy some. My immediate thought when tasting is it left a funny mouth feel and I immediately looked at the ingredients on the jar to seen it contains palm oil which I find totally unnecessary to as it has more saturated fat than peanut oil which I would add a little (8% of total weight) to my peanut butter to get the food processor spinning as I don't have a mellanger. Anyway, peanut butter co's doesn't quite have the roasted flavor Teddie's has and is a bit sweeter (I also ordered some Teddie's and did a taste comparison). I've decided to stop making it, at least for a while, and buying Teddie's. As far as peanut butter and co's, it's a NO for me dog.For anyone interested in making their own peanut butter, here is my formula.900g toasted peanuts90g sugar20g salt40g peanut oilBlend in food processor until smooth.

I love this peanut butter.And I wish consumers understood the dangers to their health of buying nut and seed butters in plastic containers.... It's worth the extra money to buy PB in glass jars to avoid all the toxins that leach out of the plastic

It's a good tasting peanut butter and has no palm oil or other not-good-for-you ingredients.
