With modification does the trick!
I bought this in the small size for one of my pugs. The bowl is not great for him because of his flat face, so I use a bowl I bought at Pet Smart and it fits almost perfectly. It snaps in (usually lol). The bowl is called Top Paws stainless steel bowl... I know, not very descriptive. The bowl comes in two sizes apparently and I'm not sure which size we bought. I have attached a photo which may be helpful.I also bought the large size for another one of my pugs who has shoulder pain. The Loving Pets Argyle Bella Bowl for Dogs, Medium, Pink fits perfectly in the large stand. What is nice about these stands is they easily fold for storage between meals, they're easy to clean and great for travel.

Quality and study design
I purchased this item for use at my workplace that requires everything be stored in lockers at end of day. The lockers are small so I needed something that could fold and collapse. Since the lockers are small I had to get the small bowl but it’s depth and volume amount work for my service dogs needs. The folding legs lock and require a button to be pressed in order to fold again. The design is very sturdy and I’m very pleased. The silicon bowl also collapses and is easily removable for washing if needed. I’ve looked at several other travel bowls or bowl stands that were subpar and looked to break easily. This stand and bowl is the best I’ve seen yet. One bowl serves its purpose for our work days but if there was a double bowl stand of same quality and mechanics of how this works it would be worth buying as well for hotels and traveling.

It doesn't end up under the table!
I know that technically this is a travel bowl, but I bought it for my older, extremely eager eater. She has become beyond thrilled that I have added wet food to her dry and had been chasing her old, rubber bottomed bowl across the tile and beneath the dining room curtains.I really didn't relish fishing her bowl out with the kitchen broom twice a day. So, after looking at weighted bowls versus elevated bowls due to her age, I stumbled across this bowl. The feet are rubberized and refuse to budge. Besides, even excited, she only manages to get the bowl hung up on the tile grout. The collapsible bowl is easy to clean and snaps cleanly into the stand. It's awesome! 10 out of 10!

Gorgeous Design and Color but......
I saw some of the answered questions before purchasing and mistakenly thought the customer comments about product dimensions referred to some of the smaller sizes. I ordered the large size (it says 32 ounces on the tag) which measures five inches tall at the rim, about 9.5 inches in diameter, and the bottom of the bowl actually sits a little over two inches above the floor. We have a greyhound, so this product is slightly better than pointless. The only reason I didn't give fewer stars is my husband thought the design was really cool (which I have to admit it is). To summarize, the product description should include the five inch rim height!

Perfect for my elderly pittie
Purchased this in a size large and ordered the Loving Pets Coastal Bella Bowl in a medium to replace the collapsible bowl that comes with this feeder. The feeder is great except my old girl needed a more shallow bowl. Sturdy and easy to fold the legs down and back up for storage. The bowl that comes with the feeder works great but is too deep for her. Took the advise of another reviewer and the combination of this and the Loving Pets bowl worked perfectly for my application.Feeder is 5" tall to top rim when sitting on floor. Not the tallest feeder, but worked well for my 55lb pittie.

Exactly what I needed! Couldn't be more pleased.
Boomer is my 12-lb. Min-Pin/Chihuahua mix; 14 and counting, and has the bowed Chihuahua front legs, which were getting really bowed from eating out of a floor-level dish. I don't know why it took me so long to notice that and order an elevated food stand.I searched yesterday for over an hour for one that was just right for him: most had too small a dish; many had too large a footprint; most were way more than I wanted to pay! Finally I discovered this one, and voila! It just arrived and I tested it out with some tuna fish. Perfect height for Boomer, very sturdy, perfect dimensions, dish stays in place but is easy to remove, and so easy to swish out in the sink after each feeding. I couldn't be more pleased. One thing I have to check out, however, and that is whether the dish is microwavable--I like to heat up Boomer's refrigerated canned food for 20 seconds (he has irritable bowl syndrome and our refrigerator gets thing really cold), and it's easier if I don't have to use two dishes to accomplish that task.UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer (Dexas International, Ltd.) and got this reply: "The bowls are made of TPE and we recommend that they not be put in the microwave."

Handy but not high enough for mine
Bought the large for a 1 year old border collie... His neck and upper spine is still dipping lower than than a comfortable level and he's not yet fully grown. He walks off halfway through his meal to literally stretch his neck and give it rest before going back to the dish. The last few times just as he's about to walk off for his halftime neck stretch, I lift his dish a bit higher and he tucks back into it... I'll be gifting this to someone with a smaller framed dog... Other than that wet food can tend to get caught around the edge on the base and as the dog tries to get to it he wrestles with the base and legs getting away from him. All in all I appreciate the design and the convenient collapsable bowl and foldable legs... it's just not quite right for us.

Large set is only 5" / 12cm high
Wish the height was listed on the description!! The set is well made set, nothing wrong with the product itself but it isn't high enough for our 10 year old boxer, who has spine problems. This set only stands 5"/12cm high and it needs to be around 11". I'd say this is a medium bowl for medium size dogs.....definitely not for large deep chested breeds.

Larger than it looks.
Exactly what I wanted to take on holiday for my dog. Takes up very little room and can hold at least 285g of dry dog food.Bowl can go in top of dishwasher to give it a thorough clean.

Really good purchase
I bought this for a week 'dog holiday', and it was a great purchase. Large enough for two medium dogs to have water access overnight, easy to collapse and fold, sturdy, packs up well, doesn't slip or slide - basically ideal in every way. Highly recommended if you need a larger bowl for holidays, camping or travelling.

brilliant
This elevated dish is brilliant, folds away for transporting and is quite sturdy, you can also place a different bowl in the stand too if you wish.N Busfield
