2 Inch x 26 Feet Hook and Loop Tape Sticky Back Fastener Roll, Nylon Self Adhesive Heavy Duty Strips Fastener for Home Office School Car and Crafting Organization

I wanted to hang home-sewn curtains in our van, but the irregular size of the largest window and the need to keep the material from interfering with the sliding-door, called for this hook and loop stuff. The product adhered quickly to the metal frame around the window, but the strips I applied to the fabric did not. I thought it would be easy enough to sew it around the edges, but the strip was too thick to fit under my sewing machine's presser foot, so I had to sew it by hand. Even with an oversized needle, every stitch was a struggle. I had to bandage my hand with masking tape in order to keep from stabbing myself endlessly. Bottom line, this stuff works great on metal, but not on fabric. As for value, yes, I think the price was right considering how big the rolls are.

I use this tape for all different purposes and will always have some on hand since it does so many different jobs. I discovered it when putting Christmas lights on my railings and securing an extension cord for my heated birdbath in the winter. It never let go even in the worst weather.

Adhesive backing not strong enough to handle the situation

I used it to help keep dining room chair cushions in place. It does allow me to reposition as necessary.

For best results, clean both surfaces with rubbing alcohol and allow them to dry.Warm the surfaces a bit with a heat gun and apply the velcro.Once the adhesive settles in, it is very difficult to remove the velcro.

So many uses and purposes. Good product.

I'm finding the sticky back adhesive aspect of this product less than satisfactory. Applied fuzzy side to glass, and it let go almost immediately when sun hit the glass. Was careful to clean with alcohol prior to application. Heat sensitive. Also having issues with the bond to plastic, at room temperature, absent any heat component. So am not completely satisfied due to this shortcoming. In some applications, probably fine. But for me, am having to replace large areas of two projects with an alternate product.EDIT! CORRECTION!!Emergency edit: Apologies to the vendor! Mistakenly gave negative review to the wrong product. That is because in some cases it is listed as "1 inch", and I bought a different brand in 1" that disappointed. Got confused about which brand I was reviewing since I'm familiar with the 2" of this one. Of three brands I purchased for the same project in my pickup bed topper, this 2" was the best. Had to remove the goo of the failed 1" different brand product, and after cleaning replaced with this 2" hook and loop with much better results. The backing (nylon?) is more substantial than the others, and the adhesive is sticking in sun, which is much better than the product it was used to replace. So bottom line, this was the solution that worked for me, not the one I was disappointed in. I did acquire a third product afterward to make up a bit of materials shortfall, but that third brand was not of quite the quality that this product is. Specifically, the backing was not as substantial. So this one here is the best of the three I've recently tried. Sorry for disinformation to the person who asked about use in a roll up truck bed cover. So far, this (2") product is working inside my truck bed topper when another did not.

Two rolls one each to bond together to keep items together used it on my patio set for the wicker box that we put our pillows into. When got it the black plastic large bag did not have enough sticky tape to keep it up when putting pillows into it work great.

Great for when you need something stuck to a wall that can't use screws or nails or in hard to reach areas, exactly what I needed.

It's ok, but the rolls are so loose that as soon as you touch them, they cling to everything. It took longer to untangle things than it did to measure, cut and adhere the screen that I bought this for. Flexible is one thing, but perhaps a little stiffer backing would be helpful.
