Didn’t get good results
These were weak and didn’t work well. I had plants under them for a month that were slowly dying and the plants are healthy again now after I moved them to under a different light. Don’t let the inexpensive price convince you to get these- find something better.

Lightweight and strong light
I am using this for my succulents and the lights sit directly over the plants. I like that there is a timer on it helps when I’m in a rush to go to work and I know that it will turn on at the time I want it. There’s a timer that allows u to set how long u want the lights, and I use full strength. I like that it’s super light weight and can be place anywhere especially smaller area like the tier shelf i use. I now have my propragation tray placed under it n it’s grown so much. Would buy another set if I needed to

Superb plant lights
Nice compact packaging. It came with everything you need to easily install light fixtures. The lights perfectly whether it’s plugged into an outlet of computer USB port. Lightweight plant lights. The lights are a warm white; not harsh to the eyes especially when it’s in an open room that is not screened off. There is control of light intensity. Timer setting is 4, 8 and 12 hours.I used the zip ties to install the lights to my plant shelf set up. It comes with an extra zip tie if you mess up. It also comes with screws and double sided tape for alternate installation options.Very pleased with the lights. Can’t speak about how my plants like it seeing as I just got today and immediately installed it.Good price and yes, I’d recommend it.

Haven’t tried all the features, but so far so good
I screwed the pair into the top of a sterilite container. I used the tip of a hot glue gun to punch holes near the corners to keep the bamboo skewers from slip-sliding and set the lid on top. As they grow, I may have to find taller “posts”. Anyway it is a lot cheaper than most grow light set ups and when I am finished, I can put all my seedling starting gear in it and store. I will probably replace the screws with small nuts and bolts. I could have used the zip tie cord.

Nice lights, unbeatable price
Just received today and was so excited to set it up. I’m using it for a fern that I’m placing in the fireplace. I’ve been wanting to decorate this space with live plants but was concerned about the low light. Hope this works. The lights are not too bright, although it seems enough for the fern which doesn’t require too much light anyways.

Will not work with external timer!
Good price on light bars compared to the many other identical units available for sale on Amazon. I mounted them to a scrap 1x6 piece of lumber and suspended under a saw horse rigged up so I could adjust the height. My goal was to use an external timer as most experts advise a photoperiod of 18 on/6 off for optimal seedling growth. This unit(and others) for some reason only have fixed timer periods of 3/6/12 hours. I already had a timer so I planned to not use the built in timer, instead relying on my external timer. To my dismay, I have found that the lights will cut off, but will NOT turn on by themselves once the external timer cuts on supplying power to the lights. Bizarrely you must push the “on” button to turn them on AND then select the color spectrum desired with the “mode” button. I have tried it several ways, including with built-in timer set and no timer selected. Very disappointed and will be returning for refund. I hope the mfg will read this review and post a possible fix, then I may keep them. I wonder how it would function if you cut out the controller and spliced the wires back together? All I really need is the maximum intensity and both color leds to be on permanently. Then I can use my external timer to set the desired photoperiod.

Don’t waste your $$
Not happy with this product, I return it, company said keep it which was nice , not sure what I’ll do with it, we go legal to grow marijuana in July I may try using it for that, it really is pretty useless.

Not Bright like advertised. A household LED bulb will compete with or outshine this bar.
Bought several sets of these. My 8watt LED bulb from Walmart puts out more light than this purpose built “high power strip”. Since I got multiple of them I’m willing to say it wasn’t a faulty product I received, and this is in fact just another Amazon scam.Sadly don’t have a meter yet to test the actual wattage draw from the wall but I’ll be shocked if it’s over 10watts per wall plug. Also it seems like when you plug the second light into the first light, it halves the power, both strips only getting 50% of whatever watts are actually available. This light IS dirt cheap. So obviously I expected this to be the case. If you find them on sale like I did it’s worth the $10 to get a light you can set right on your clone dome, or to keep a small plant like a succulent, maybe even a smaller cactus! When I plugged it in I was underwhelmed, then remembered the dimming function, thought “oh it must be fully dimmed down, let’s turn it up! This is totally fine for fully dimmed! Buuuuuuut, that was the max brightness. It only got dimmer from there.
