to early to answer properly on battery life. but they take a 9 volt. I gave a good review for some other ones that had a 10 yr lithium battery. but only lasted almost 2 years. so these are too new to give an honest opinion yet.

Smaller than the usual ones which I like. Built in battery so no charging no chirping. Easiest install ever. Would definitely buy again.

Neighbor had a fire in the attic. After the fire realized everyone should have a smoke detector in their attic. Product appears to work as expected.

I installed 2 smoke alarms, one in hall and one in kitchen. The one in the kitchen is maybe 10 feet from the stove. It goes off continuously when the smoke gets a little high on the stove eye. I have to keep my foot stool handy. Haha :) The smoke alarm works great.

Delivered amazingly fast. Very well made. Included battery and separate magnetic connector. Very compact fits almost all spaces. Just attach and go.
