Freyja CanadaWarm Women Knit Mittens 100% Icelandic Wool Fleece Lined

Far nicer, warmer, and softer inside than we expected. Ordered and arrived in 6 days, much quicker than expected. Purchased as a gift for our adult daughter but my wife might just keep them.

I have a wool allergy - not just the kind that makes your skin itch but the kind that makes my nose run and eyes itch when I have wool near my face (I guess it's the oils). But as I also am very sensitive to cold weather (Raynaud's), I love wool products for the dry warmth they provide. These mittens are just great for me because in addition to being beautiful, they are very, very warm and (most importantly) have a liner which I believe is made of non-wool material. As long as I keep my hands away from my face, they are just the best - so cozy warm, far warmer than any glove. I guess I should verify that the "fleece liner" is NOT made of wool (anyone?) but all I can say is it's soft and comfy and so far I have had no histamine reaction at all to the mittens. I just ordered and received another pair in a different pattern, because my daughter loves them too. They are somewhat pricey and I hope I never lose one or both, but as someone who is used to being disappointed in products far more often than pleased, I've been really impressed with how good my hands feel in them when I go out to warm up the car on below zero mornings.

I have neuropathy in my hands and struggle to keep my hands warm when out in the Wisconsin winters with my dog. I have tried ski mittens with no luck. These are so warm and worth every penny! Was outside for over an hour and it was 9 degrees. My hands stayed toasty warm. I was worried about them getting wet, but they repelled the snow nicely. Highly recommend. They do seem to run a bit small, so if you have larger hands, they might not work for you.

Love these gloves/mittens - the grown up version yet still reminiscent of what I wore as a child. They are so soft, warm and sweet! Gave them as gifts this year and everyone seemed to love them. Quality and well made!

I love these mittens! I live in the Midwest where it gets bitter cold. I’m in a walking group and was suffering from freezing hands every day, no matter how I layered gloves and mittens. I have an allergy to wool and hesitated to try these, but took a chance based on reviews. They are lined in a soft fleece, which is so nice! My hands were nice and toasty on our walks, even after 45 minutes in 10 degree weather (not including wind chill!). At some times, my hands would actually be too warm. I didn’t think that could be possible. 😄 I recommended these to others in my walking group and those who got them love them just as much. Highly recommend!! 10 stars!

Comfy wool mittens and worked fine when working with a campfire. A little small but I like tighter fitting mittens so if you want a little looser you may want to order up a size

This is the 3rd pair of these mittens I have purchased, they are truly wonderful. The actual color of this particular pair is much more muted than the photo, but still beautiful. I use these...don't laugh, now...for plowing on my ATV. They are the ONLY mittens I have found to keep my hands warm for the duration on my plow. Yes, the wind goes through them, as they are knitted, but where I live, it is rarely windy, so that is rarely an issue. As they are wool, they stay dry. They are dense...thick, yet have plenty of give and dexterity while I am shifting gears and working the blade. No hinderance what-so-ever. Best mittens out there, in my book.

Pretty design. Very warm. Room for hot packs on the really cold days.
