My old cardboard box fell apart so I ordered this to store my antique train set. It is very sturdy and fits nicely in the attic.

This was the perfect size for my ornament storage. It was a major upgrade from the cardboard box I have been using. I love that it’s see through. The lid is secure which makes me feel good about being able to move it & not have the lid come off & I drop it or something crazy.

I’m using these to store all my holiday decorations. They stay clean and dust free.. The containers are easy to stack. The lid closure is easy to open and close. I might buy another one to finish up my Christmas decorations.

Maybe I'm OCD, maybe I just want to hang onto memories even if I never look back on them, but I purchased three of these to put away my old letters and journals collected over the years. Pretty much ever letter that I ever received from someone I knew. They used to rest in shoe boxes, footlockers, other cardboard boxes... somehow I had a fear that they would be more likely to get lost or damaged this way so I got these bins to put them away. What I like is that the translucent material on the side makes it easy to glance at and see what's inside. Like a tetris expert, I fit in the shoeboxes of letters and all my different sized journals into these boxes (and some really old family heirlooms and nick-knacks as well) It keeps it nice, and just feels better organized than old boxes. And let's get real - these will last longer than cardboard though there is no protection against fire and water can seep into the top since the lid doesn't shut air-tight. If it's on your basement floor and there's flooding, items inside will stay dry as long as it doesn't seep over the surface. One of mine had a lid that didn't fit in smoothly like the others, but with a bit of fiddling, it worked fine. Will withstand some standard knocks, but isn't bullet-proof or anything. Just a storage device, not a safe.

This is our second time buying these products - we have a total of 30 and find these perfect for moving. They are very sturdy and hold up well. They are also able to stack easily so they don’t take up much space when stored. We used to rent boxes like these for moving but found it’s just cheaper to buy if you move more than 2x or so. Highly recommend.

These are better than the STERILITE products. The plastic of these is more sturdy and the lids are hinged and much sturdier. You can stack these - each box around 30 pounds. Can stack about 3 high. Any higher and the bottom box top might break. SteriLIte products crack easily when stacked. Great for storing things in your basement or garage. In garage it can handle 90+ F degrees and periods below freezing too. Warning . at cold temperatures the plastic gets brittle so do not drop them on garage floor. Be more gentle in winter and they will last several years. Highly recommend these. Can hold a lot of stuff, including important papers you want to keep for 7 years in case needed for IRS audits, etc. (bills, tax filings, investment buy and sell histories, etc). Can also be used to store liquids, painting supplies, auto supplies, tools, DVDs, wiring, games, toys, etc,...... Buy some stick on large sticky labels (from amazon) and label your boxes for better organization of your stuff. I've been using these types of storage containers for over 20 years. Good for storing your travel emergency stuff in your vehicle trunk - emergency vests, flares, flashlights, first aid kit, tools, emergency blankets, gloves, ice scraper, etc..
