I've had other material but I loved the layout and simplicity of the book. I didn't have missing pages and I found the practice exam helpful. I really feel like this text helped me pass 🙂

The exams in both books were harder than the actual exam! The thick book breaks the questions down into varying areas so you can hone in on areas where you may not be the strongest based on the exam results. I also used the app that came with the bundle and passed on my first try!!! Just buy it already!!

I did not get the digital access that is advertised with the book.

First, I used this study guide and yes, I passed my exam the first time and by a lot more than was needed. I recommend this to anyone who is planning on taking the social work clinician exam.Pros:-You get 2 full practice exams plus codes for the online practice questions, exam, and games-Each practice exam breaks down what you need to study more and what you did well on-The review book has great information/overview on information you need to know as well as tips on how to take the testCons:-The practice test have some of the same questions on them so I recommend not taking them too close together-Some information you will need to do more in-depth work on your own like diagnoses. This isn’t bad if you have a DSM-5 and it still has helpful information.

This was an amazing study guide for the clinical exam, it broke everything down nicely and in steps. The publisher did a great job covering all the necessary material that was going to be on the exam. The online program that they provide was extremely helpful as well. I used this guide along with the LCSW NCE practice questions app and it was a winning combo. I wouldn’t have done it any other way. I would recommend this product if you don’t want to do the TDC or if you’re more a book guy like myself.Only caveat is that the practice booklet they provide was awful, lots of answers and questions that contradicted themselves and some of them were straight up wrong. I wouldn’t even use the practice book at all, it created a lot of confusion, made me second guess my readiness, and it messed with my confidence going into the test. I really think the publisher should consider getting rid of it, it has no value to your studying. That being said, it’s an incredible program if you just stick to the study guide.

Explains rationale for answers and was the best prep guid I used. I bought numerous books to prep and ended up spending most of my studying time with these.
