The Houkiper Kids Night Vision Goggles are fun to play within the dark toy.These shipped well. They come in a box that would work well for gifting. You receive the goggles and written/illustrated instructions on how to operate them.These look really cool. The front lenses are neon green in color, the outer flip-out lights are gray, pushbuttons are red, and the rest of the goggles are black. The elastic that goes around part of the head is black with a gray stripe in the middle. They look really cool for spy-themed tactical play!They do require four triple-A batteries for the light-up feature which are not included. You can access the battery compartment on the backside by using a small Philips head screwdriver. I like the battery compartment was not super easy for a younger child to get into.The fit and comfort are decent. My 10-year-old said these were a little tight around his head but I tried them on my 21 inches round head and they fit me just fine. When adjusted to my head they stayed put not coming off of shifting up and down.It is important to know these are a toy. These do not give you true night vision I(i.e infrared). They emit a bright blue light which lights up dark spaces really well. My kids had a lot of fun playing with these while the lights were out.Overall, these are holding up well and are for play at home and when off camping and such.

These spy glasses are typical quality toy you would expect to get, not particularly sturdy (though not breaking) but my kid has barely taken them off since Christmas and now loves going for nighttime walks so he can ninja down the street (just don't tell him that the lights totally give him away) I recommend.

We thought that maybe there was some plastic guard stuff on the lenses to protect them from getting scratched, but realized that it’s just a bit of a warped plastic which makes it blurry to look through. This can make it difficult when wearing it because it makes you feel dizzy and slightly off balanced.

Bought for my 12 year old grandson. He loves the outdoors and loves all kinds of survival gimmicks. There are no street lights at camp, and he can walk back from his friends in the dark, only a few driveways down the street but he loves them.
