I have searched through nearly every option available for a new lap desk, and this one is perfect! I had one of the old ones from years ago that had a flat hard smooth top with the typical beaded cushion underneath. I would have kept it forever, but after unused and stored for years the beads absorbed some type of old musty smell. I wanted a flat one without any extras such as raised plastic barriers, indentations, or cupholders (all of which I find too restrictive when I'm trying to write something or move laptop around). The top is smooth enough to write on, yet won't allow your items to slip around. The picture selection is great and blends perfectly without looking cheap. I believe this is the ideal versatile lap desk and fits on my lap perfectly.

A little thinner than expected.

My husband uses this all the time for so many things and is glad I bought it for him!

Produce came unglued in one day. Had styrofoam beads all over. Thin material. Looked like a grade school project. Not worth the money.

I purchased this item for my IPAD Air and it fits perfect. I also have a folio keyboard case and still works well we did put a small bar on the edge my case when expanded wouldn’t slip.

I don't know how I made it without this.

A little smaller than I expected, but it is really nice. I actually like this size better.

I wanted to like this lap desk for hand quilting but after the first use (2 hours), the top was coming unglued and separating from the pillow part and styrofoam beads were coming out! Also the amount of beads was much less than I expected. Not sure I can purchase another with any better quality so I've ordered additional beads and will hot glue the pieces back together to make it better suited to me.
