Stronger than any conventional jump-box.
Alrighty, so I put this thing through it's paces, and all I gotta say is that there's not much else that's this good and this price. So to start, it was -5 today in the Catskills of NY. I had to jump-start three cars. A 2004 Volkswagen Touareg, a 2012 Volkswagen Golf, both TDI engines, and a 2006 Mazda3.Some background on these engines, they are Diesel engines and one small gasoline engine with NO alternator output. The CCA required to start the Touareg is 900, and for the Golf is 800. For the Mazda, it's 660. Well, it started all 3 with no issue while covered in ice and snow in frigid cold weather. The cables didn't get hot, the battery pack didn't get hot, and when they cranked, they all sounded like they had a full battery. Now, I'd like to explain why this jump-starter has an advantage above all the others. Most other lithium starters have 3 batteries inside that are rated 3.7V nominal, and when fully charged they will be about 4.1V per cell. This means they will put out roughly 12.3V. Well, this one puts out 16V when the jumpstarter is active. This is the advantage. When cranking, this jump-starter dips down to about 11V rather than 10V like the others, this is very good for cranking as it gives more usable voltage for cranking an engine and allows for higher amperage to be drawn by the vehicle's starter. All in all, this one shines high above the rest at it's price point. I must say, I will be purchasing another because I'd like to have one in my car for any emergency.

It works as advertised
After writing a review that was less than favorable about the product i had received the company immediately reached out to me. They did everything possible to make it right. They sent me a new jump pack for no charge that seems to be working as described. I have not had any issues with this new unit. It's charging properly and the items I've charged with it have charged fully. I would recommend this product to anyone. If you have a problem with the one you receive they will do everything to make it right. This is one of the few companies that actually care about their product and customers.

Incredibly powerful for such a little box!
Was going to return it since I got a new battery in my car but then the day I was going to return it a neighbor with a big SVW had a completely dead battery and they were unable to start their battery using another jump starter box. I gave them this one to try which was lighter and smaller than the one they were using, they were skeptical but it immediately started their vehicle. They were amazed and grateful so I decided to keep it.

COMPACT WELL-PACKAGED JUMP-START STARTER
This unit is advertised to provide a lot of instantaneous power for jump starting. A prior review 'sold' me on this unit. The power-pack jumper comes with a hard-woven type case, the jumper cables, instruction book, 12V adapter cable, and phone charger type usb cord for charging the device. This unit was charged at 75% capacity, and it took two hrs with my 0.7 amp phone AC-wall charger to get the unit to full charge. The recommended AC wall charger output as stated in the charger manual is 2 amps. I will probably buy one of these higher output AC chargers in the near future. Unless you use the jumper, it is supposed to maintain a 'full charge' for three to four months according to recharging recommendations. It would be nice to have some relatable Amp-hr capacity number in the specifications from which I could estimate the power it could provide to, for example, a 12V device drawing 400ma. That is, how long (in hours) can I run that 400ma device. I plan to use this as a backup power source during power outages, and hope it meets my expectations. The safety features are well thought out, but reading the manual is a must to be sure you are using it properly (particularly for jump starting a car). I like its lightweight portability, and am keeping it in my car for emergencies. I have changed my review from 4 to 5 stars, since I have now used it with success. I had to help a neighbor jump her 3 yr old Ford Escape to get it started. Worked like a champ. The only thing I noticed when I connected it to the Escape battery, was that the leds on the plugged-in jumper cable adapter flashed a constant stream of red to green, and green to red flash pattern. The instruction manual states that the leds (or green led) should just glow steady green after 10 seconds once the cables are hooked up. That did not happen, but the red-green flash pattern did, and the car started. The instruction manual did not mention this red to green and back again flash condition, and what it might indicate. (For example, does that indicate a soon-need-to-replace failing battery....or a good battery?) Finally, the 3-yr warranty that came with my unit permits me to give 5 stars, since I have no worry if it fails in two years or less.
