Good looking incense stick holder
Had other incense holders where the ash doesn’t always get captured by the incense holder or stand, and this box does the trick to contain all the fallen ash in a decorative box. Looks good. My only con would be the hinges on the box feel flimsy and the wood soft so it could break. But a harder wood would be more difficult to carve such intricate designs in. Can’t win them all but a good compromise in the middle.

An affordable, attractive holder for your incense
Pros:- Nice quality wood- Attractive design- Has holder for incense cones as well as sticks- Self-contained, so you can avoid the mess of ashesCons:- Mine unfortunately arrived with a small defectAll in all a lovely little box for holding your incense, and really not a bad price for what you get.Build Quality:There's not much to complain about in this regard, the wood used seems fairly good, although nothing to write home about. For the price I can't complain however. Unfortunately my box did arrive with a small defect, as can be seen in two of the attached images. A small chip of wood came off where one of the hinges is seated, and so that hinge now slides out when I close the lid. It's a minor annoyance but nothing more, and I can't expect everything to arrive in top condition but it loses a star for that reason.Design:This box follows the understated but attractive design that you see on a lot of incense holders these days, with small metal patterns along the side. The holes along the top of the box result in a lovely pattern of smoke as the incense burns. There is a hole on either end of the box for holding incense sticks, and the lidded design prevents the ash from getting all over your surfaces.Other:The box also contains two metal holders for incense cones, which I had never used before. To my surprise the box also came with 10 such cones, which have a nice floral scent, quite powerful. If you found this review helpful then let me know with a thumbs up! Likewise if it was lacking then feel free to give it a thumbs down. Happy shopping!

A great incense box - perfect for cones and sticks.
It's been many years since I last used incense or "joss" sticks. They remind me of my childhood as my a good friend's mom used to use them, and whenever I went to my friend's house I'd smell the incense sticks. So now all these years later I have decided to use them again. Looking at stick holders I decided to get this one, and I am vary pleased with what I received. The box is made of woo and is hand-made, which is evident from the rough-cut holes in the lid. But I think the hand-made look and feel about this box is a lot better than having some machine-made perfect looking box. The lid fits nicely and is a little stiff when opening on its little metal hinges, but again I like this. It has two metal plates in it for incense cones, which are also included, though I cannot comment on the incense cones themselves as I have used the Stamford Premium sticks. The box also comes with two tiny holes on the ends of the body into which you stick the thin end of the incense stick into, so that the burning part of the stick lies in the box itself. So light your stick in the normal way and then place into the box, close the lid and away you go. Incense smoke emerges from the shaped-holes in the lid.The box really is made well and looks just the part. Recommended.

Actually pretty good
The craftmenship could’ve been better as the paint on the outside with the gold leaves is coming off and the holes in the wood need sanding as it has big bits sticking out of it. One of the cone holders had come loose and fallen out in shipping which is fixable but annoying. Came with about 8 cones which i didn’t even know about. They smell good at first but then smell like fire once burnt out and now my room smells like smoke. Overall, not too bad for the money though.

Arrived broken
I ordered 2 boxes for my teenagers one each, both arrived broken. My husband had to repair both of them. They're quite lovely, but really disappointed that both arrived broken. One was split along the bottom and the other the lid was completely in half. It's good my husband is good with wood glue.
