First time using. Lumpy film on top after using with soft tool
Strange lumpy hard film on top of the panpastels I’ve used so far. I have to scrape it off with a blade, not happy at all. I did send a message to the link provided by Amazon to contact seller then I got some wired email saying something to the effect it is not with this seller?? I get the feeling I’ve waisted my money. These pastels must be as old as the hills. I don’t press hard either. Love the medium. I’ve watched like 15 YouTubes and no one seems to get this lumpy film. The soft tools are new from the package that came with the set as well. So I can’t figure it out. The tray was not sealed shut when I got it. I don’t use anything with these only the tool as directed in the video. Maybe this is normal?
