very good little machine. I would buy it again.
Super great little machine! I do not like the new computer machines as I don't use all of there available settings. Thi one is just right for me. It sews well and is easy to understand how to use the different features.

Great non-computerized sewing machine
I replaced a 30 year old brother machine with this machine. I love the needle threader, most of my time was spent threading the needle and now I can spend that time sewing instead. Learning to use the needle threader was confusing at first but once I figured it out it's simple. I have sewn and altered about 30 knit fabric clothing items and the stitches look amazing.

Disappointed
This one was maybe a LEMON, but intermittent grinding gears and final motor failure ended it on the curb for recycle. It didn't last a year. ( 2 trips to a repair shop--unable to be fixed} I bought the Janome heavy duty through Walmart (with a warranty) and LOVE it. My original Janome lasted many years, so I guess I haven't given up on the brand yet.

Excellent machine
Excellent machine. I wished I could have kept it but at the moment could not afford it. But will save up to buy it again and keep it. I love the fact that there are markings also on the bobbin cover. This machine works great!

Disappointed
I am a previous Janome owner. I am disappointed and sent this machine back. The needle threader worked well. The instructions were clear. But no matter what I did, I couldn’t get a good even stitch. I emailed the company and I did not get a response. I tried again before I boxed it up and couldn’t get it right. So I sent it back.

Smooth quiet seam
I liked the ease of use. As well as how quiet it is. Complaint, I use scissors to cut thread because cutter is not very sharp enough and doesn’t cut the thread properly and the cloth sometimes doesn’t stay straight.

I love it!
I’ve been sewing for more than 30years but always on an inexpensive machine. This is amazing. The speed, the stitching, the ruggedness. It went through denim like butter. It’s a really great quality machine, I am looking forward to making many projects.
