The bone is definitely phallic shaped, and makes for some entertaining jokes. It's relatively durable with our Chocolate Lab, but our Malinois got ahold of it, and now our new Golden, and it's being torn apart. I've been trying to figure out how to get ahold of the seller since it's guaranteed, but so far I've been going in circles.

Our bulldog plows through any and all chew toys. He usually gravitates toward fabric and nylon and tends to shun plastic textures which is tricky when he shreds them in minutes no longer how "durable" they claim to be. He's always ignored Kong toys much to my dismay. This toy is the exception!We bought this at PetsMart originally mostly out of desperation. Our bulldog is wild about this one- it's only just now started to show a few light surface scratches after about three months of heavy duty chewing. Our border Collie mix who is not much of a toy fiend even started getting in on the action and it's long enough that they have a great time grabbing either end and playing tug-o-war. We also bought this second for a much better price here on Amazon so that when we stick a little treat in the end they can each have their own and don't fight over it.Most of the time they love it even without it being stuffed. My only complaint is that the hollow ends that are to be used for stuffing treats are too deep. I can't use a dab of peanut butter or a soft treat without knowing some of it will stay behind, unreachable in the hollow of it. It also collects slobber from our bulldog and gets stinky every now and then. Fortunately it's possible to clean out - just not the easiest.Overall 100% worth it. Our dogs' favorite toys: very stimulating, very durable and great price.

SPOT did an AMAZING job with this toy / toy line! I have a 100 lb Belgian Malinois mix breed dog that is a extremely heavy chewer. When we got him as a pup we went through brand after brand of extreme chewers rubber type toys and nothing worked; all other toys last 10 minutes to 2 days. This is his favorite 'bone' and it never leaves his side. He chews it constantly and we play fetch and tug-of-war with it too! The first one we bought lasted 18 months and then the very end snapped off when we were playing tug-of-war, if we didn't do that I'm sure he would still have that bone for chewing. The pics show that toy with over a yr of use. The second one purchased is still going strong and just as durable as the first! Honestly, this toy is worth in gold and we keep an extra one around just in case it's needed. We also have the smaller red bone from SPOTS Play Stong line and after a year it is also in great shape! All I can say is Thank You Ethical Products for making what is in my mind is the best toy line on the market!

I will just emphasis that this is "virtually" indestructible and not actually indestructible, that or my dog took it as a challenge. I have an extreme chewer and he's gnawed out some good chunks from the ends, but this toy is really great for him. He loves it and carries it around with him all over the house and loves playing fetch with it. I would also note that this is pretty hefty, sounds like we're busting through the floor if we throw it on our wood floors. Overall I would definitely recommend for heavy chewers, great price for a toy that keeps them distracted!

I ordered this item hoping for a better than average life expectancy based on the description and reviews. It did take quite a while to arrive as it was shipping from the US, but when it did I was pleasantly surprised. This has lasted longer than many other bones designed for heavy chewers. To date our dog has not been able to get any pieces off or make significant damage.

I have an extreme power chewing Great Dane cross. I purchased this a couple weeks ago. He loves it, and there is no sign of damage to it out. I also love the fact that it is larger than most dog chew toys

My Bernie girls favorite toy. She plays with it all the time and not even a teeth mark. Very sturdy. Its a big and heavy toy therefore is good for Giant Breeds

The dog enjoys trying to chew it. He particularly likes getting peanut butter out of it. He’s a medium size dog and the bone is a bit too long for him as he has trouble when he tries to take it out his doggy door. 200 mm long would have been ideal for him. Doesn’t matter he loves it.
