Live Saltwater Plant CHAETOMORPHA Macro Algae 1 OZ / 2 Cups Chaeto Refugium with Live Copepods and Amphipods - 2 Cups

I live in FL, bought from shore aquatic. It came in a day or 2 becausethey are in FL. Had pods, nice color green, I ordered this in 100 degree heat, it was perfect. If you don't live in FL this probably only ships out in Mondays and Tuesdays. It was very healthy, no smell, no worms or bad starfish. Very happy with the order. Remember it is a LIVE product, it's YOUR responsibility to keep an eye on tracking and not let it sit all day in a hot mailbox. Think of it like you just ordered a cat in the mail. If you're not home to get, ask a neighbor to get it out of the mIlbox. If YOU let it sit all day in a black mailbox, that's YOUR fault, not the sellers. Just like a cat would die, this migjt also. Don't order it if you can't get your mail during the day. It comes via USPS. You'll be happy, I got plenty, I'd say around 1 cup, obviously you can squeeze it all into 1 inch but not doing that it fits in a cup. It's not covered with pods but it's the perfect amount to start a whole colony growing in a weeks time.

The media could not be loaded. When This Cheato arrived April 11th it was covered in dead worms and smelled wretched. It was still green so I rinsed it and added it to my sump. I have been meticulous with this tank so adding this went against my gut instinct. But i did anyway. 7 days later it has devastated My healthy and thriving livestock that I have raised for more than 8 years. And more are dying every day no matter what I do. This was the ONLY change I have made to this tank so I know it is directly related. When I approached the seller they demanded a picture of the Cheato. So i dug it out of the garbage. They refused to take responsibility for the devastation their product has caused. Saying it looked green and alive. Duh! It's been In a healthy tank for 7 days. They said I must have other issues with my tank. Uh, NO! I'm not new to this hobby. Your nasty wretched smelling Cheato was obviously contaminated and the root cause of my tanks devastation. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! Don't risk the lives of your babies you have been raising for YEARS or the heartbreak of losing so many at once.

Let me start by saying the shipping was delayed massively due to a winter storm and was possibly in delivery trucks for 8 days or so which I understand is not the sellers fault. With that in mind I was happily pleased with the fact that the chaeto sent was still green and seemingly alive when it arrived. That means they do have very healthy chaeto.Now for the bad stuff. There was not a copepod in sight. I do understand that with the long shipping there is a good chance they all died during the travel but still it's unfortunate. They add a letter with the package giving you care instructions and telling you that there is NO GUARANTEE which doesn't seem right especially coming from Amazon. In this letter they also explain there are bristle worms. In my case they were all seemingly dead due to travel but there are A LOT of them so if you don't want a ton of bristle worms don't buy this. And lastly and most importantly I paid $75 for 2 cups of chaeto. This is in no way 2 cups. As you can clearly see in the picture at most it's about a 2" mass of chaeto. $75 is way too much money for the product provided. If I would have known better I would have waited on Algaebarn to get chaeto that was clean and guarantees no hitchhikers. For what I got I could have paid $20 from a local reefer.

This was a fantastic experience.I was very hesitant to purchase Chaeto for my tank online.However, I am so happy that I finally tried it. It was packaged well and was In beautiful healthy condition. The amount was great as it was more than I expected and I received it very quickly!

TruBlu Supply shipped fast but, USPS took four days to deliver the package and it was only a five hour drive from the shipper to my home. The Chaeto arrived in good shape and good size.

The chaeto arrived tightly packaged and green. It looks good in my grow-lighted refugium. I was in a hurry, so I didn't inspect the package for the amount of copepods. I can't really tell afterward either, because my refugium already has copepods. Good value.

Took a month to get here and was dead on arrival

It was cold when it shipped and it wasn't really that warm. I was worried none fo the copepods would survive, but a good number have and I have a nice amount in my refugium now.
