I love this little clock from Braun. Simple classic style with soft orange glow light with on off button. Big hands have glow in the dark tips so you can see the time without the light. Everything you need and nothing you don’t with keeping time. Feels solid, need 3 AA batteries. Good German quality clock. Worth the money compared to the junky ones that cost less.

I got two and I really love the white one. It’s so elegant and the nightlight is so subtle. However, the nightlight doesn’t really work on the black one, because it shines from behind the clock face, which means there’s no luminance because the black clock face virtually blocks all light. I thought they would have done something smart like etching on the digits to let light through, but I was overthink it and Braun didn’t do that.

I bought this clock to replace a 30+-year-old Braun alarm clock that served me well, but the alarm was losing volume. It appears to be well made and the backlighting is welcome new feature. The alarm volume is sufficient and the mechanism is easy to operate. My only disappointment is that the clock is not made in Germany like the old one.

I shouldn't be surprised as the clock was made in you-know-where. But I'm very ANNOYED. I loaded it up with 3 brand new AA batteries (it's a battery HOG) and after just a couple weeks having it display ONLY the time (no back-light, no alarm!) it stopped working last night. I removed the batteries, tested them, and they are still showing FULLY CHARGED on the meter. So it must be the clock is cheap and defective. I will not be replacing this clock with the same or any other Braun model. I just wanted an attractive, non-digital alarm clock for my bed side. Looks like you can't find a reliable one anywhere anymore. This clock is SUPER easy to use, but the pale numbers on gray background were a bit hard to read. I never used the back light option, and I tested the alarm on Day One. It worked! But if the clock stops ticking, what's the point of having it on the bedside table and ever using it for an alarm clock?

The clock is a little on the small side so it doesn't take up much room on the night table. It is easy to read and the back light makes it easy to read at night. Both the alarm and the time are easy to set and since it's battery operated a power outage won't affect it. definitely a good clock for the price.

Nicely made. Not much good at night. Unless you keep the back light on as you cant make out time from luminous paint. Too many hands: hard to get a quick read even when backlit in middle of the night; sweeping seconds hand is unnecessary and complicates things, hands are all much the same size to add to the illegibilty in night. Numbers too small and not luminous.

Love this little clock! It's easier to reset than the other model I purchased. Keeps good time and looks neat sitting on my desk.

Der Wecker ist einfach perfekt! Für mich hat er genau die richtige Größe für den Nachtisch. Der Weckton ist anfangs nicht zu laut, das ist super wenn der Partner noch weiter schlafen möchte. Wichtig ist, dass man die Griffe auf der Rückseite zum einstellen für die Uhrzeit und die Weckzeit nur in die angegebene Richtung dreht, weil sonst lauf Beschreibung was kaputt gehen kann. Ansonsten ist die Bedienung aber so einfach und Intuitiv dass man die Beschreibung nicht braucht.

It's a nice looking classical alarmclock, but it is difficult to read the numbers in dark since they are white on grey. This was quite important for me since it was a gift to my 7 year old son.
