Great oil and helpful applicator
There are two, almost equally important things to consider when buying a lubricant for your knife: 1) You need a good quality oil that lubricates and protects without attracting and holding grit, and 2) You need a means of applying it only where you want it. This product delivers both. The narrow application neck gives you great control and you can apply only a drop or a line, as desired. You can also reach into the knife to approach the hinge at different angles. To be honest, this is my first lubricating oil for knife hinges, so I can't give much of a comparison, but it worked like a champ in restoring my Benchmade folding knives to their original condition. This bottle will also last me for years, I suspect. So, I'm very pleased.

Great for my OTF knife
I was looking for a lubricant made just for my bench made OTF because my blade was sticking. Even after cleaning my knife it wasn’t functioning properly until I used this oil.

Pretty good, biggest value that is non-toxic
As far as oil goes it does the job, fairly thin in consistency so it gives that 'wet' look for a few days or less depending how much you play with your knives. My Grip and Delicas have no complains :) and I appreciate the fact this oil is non-toxic safe on knives used for food prep, no strong scent either. Blueish color helps see how much is applied.a few tips/cons:- cut the applicator tip gradually and do a straight cut (not on angle) as that will dictate how much and how precisely you can apply oil.- black cap does not screw on but rather snaps (pretty weak) so store upright or at least avoid it floating around in your toolbox under heaver tools that might create pressure. It should last a while on knives but would not use it around the house due to its size, value might be lost there.

This is a great lube
Nice light weight oil. Leaves a nice film. Has no funny smells. Seems to not attract too much dirt or lint. I love tuff glide and have used it for years. It's still my number one choice. But this bluelube definitely fills the bill when you want something that is a little thicker. It also last much longer from what I notice. Works beautifully on my paramilitary 2.

The lube is not too runny but also not thick like grease, does not smell harsh
I have been using Benchmade bluelube to lube my knives for years and finally got around to writing a review for it here. The lube is not too runny but also not thick like grease, does not smell harsh, and the bottle comes with precision applicator tip for you to drip the lube onto your knife. It is effective at the joints to smoothen the pivot of the blade for folding knives, and I also wipe a thin layer of this onto the blade to coat it ever so slightly. This is my go-to lube for all my knives and I am very happy with it.

Very good Knife Lube
Very good knife lube, and thin. it's also tinted blue so you can see where you've applied it already. Not to runny and not to thin, just right. It's a little pricey but there are others that cost alot more. This is just kinda hard to find to purchase is all, most Benchmade knife dealers don't even sell this lube, typically they only carry is the knife cleaner from Benchmade. I prefer this over other brands. I don't believe it's food safe though (you'll need to check your self).
