It heats up in seconds just by pouring water over the heating packs. My French dip sliders came out pretty warm. Aluminum pans do get too hot to handle by hand. So be careful. Toss the bins or reuse them again. The heating elements are one and done. Nice to not have an open fire at a tailgate spread.

This system is a very effective heat retention product. It does maintain consistent heat for about 40 minutes, which is sufficient for most corporate lunch timeframes. Any meal lasting over 1 hour should have another set of heat packets activated in order to maintain proper temperature. A little pricey but overall a very efficient catering tool.

I finally tried 2 kits and i really don't feel like my food got heated at all. It did show steam but it did not get hot or warm or even stay hot for an 1 hour. Nice trays but it didn't do the job for me

Used this product for a catering event and worked out perfectly.

Did not keep food hot was a waste of money and you had to pay the postage when returning the unused fuel and postage is not refunded
