Mountainpeak Enclosed Trailer Roof Ladder Rack Fit for Enclosed or Open Trailer - Aluminum

I ordered 2 sets of these to add to my 24’ trailer. Wow what a difference, they are super strong and so easy to install. I actually cut the height down for my application, they come higher for a curved roof system but my trailer has a flat roof. All the hardware was included making for an easy install.

Very easy to install. Arrived on time and undanaged. I love the simplicity. I bought this to go on a small 4x8 enclosed trailer that holds my camping gear… now I can carry my canoe as well.

I used these to make a kayak trailer and they work great for that, the only issue I have is the base is not attached to the body of these brackets. You use self tapping screws to join them together and they are super wobbly after. I took them to guy who put a weld on the seam, I just didn't think the screws would last after bumping down the road all summer.

Pictures say it all. Easy to build to your needs. The 2x4s don't scratch my kayaks like metal will.

I would advise anyone considering this item to avoid purchasing at all costs. Poorly made, not strong, poor material finish and not durable. I am embarrassed to say I actually opened the packaging looked at the product and did not return it immediately. I did in fact install this item on a trailer. I even reinforced the brackets by sheet metal screwing aluminum ladders to the top hoping to get my cargo to the destination. These lasted one trip….barely. I could have just as easily lost my cargo on the highway.

Love these! They're well made and I love the ability to add my own wood cross bars. Wood is easier on the ladders and stuff I need to carry. Don't use treated wood though or it will corrode the aluminum on these brackets!

The brackets are really nicely made, and much sturdier than I expected. Easy to install, too. I'd definitely purchase them again.
