For under $5 this is a really good product. I was..well seriously skeptical on how well it was going to work, and also how pleasant the feel, smell and quality would be. I have to say it smells like most Halloween makeups, but it isn't unbearable in the least. It can be a bit difficult to apply by finger, which is how I applied it to my wrist to test it at first, but with a makeup brush, it applies incredibly well. In the second photo I used a cheap as well as a little better made makeup brush to apply the black around my eyes, on my nose, cheeks, etc and it was very easy to work with. For someone like myself (who has some sensitivities), checking reactions to skin is a must. I left the product on for over 40 minutes and it created no itching, burning, redness or any pimples/other spots that makeup can create. The last bit, cleanup, was a breeze. Room temp water and soap on a dark washcloth wiped it away easily and left no stains behind on my skin. Great product, would and will use again.P.S. The cleanup of the brushes was easy. Just use some warm water, soap or shampoo and suds them up really good, rinse, then dry.

Small package and extremely hard consistency.

Works well, but takes a couple of coats to look really black. Also starts to smear a little bit if you sweat enough (I was wearing it in an action scene for a short film)

I like that you don’t have to use the entire pallet to get dark makeup coverage. Looks great and has a good consistency for costume designs. Some of it did sweat off, but it never cracked or flaked off.

This paint was so grainy, I couldn't get a good creamy consistency until I added a little aloe vera to the paint. Then it worked great, but the paint should come ready to work. I don't think they add enough oils to the paint for a creamy smooth texture.
