Very well-built, will last a lifetime if taken care of properly. What really makes it worth twice the very reasonable price is the three hours (!) of excellent instructions and many routines from Greg Wilson: he really put some serious time and effort not just into the gimmick itself, but in teaching how to use it for maximum impact, and he's a great teacher. Cannot recommend this enough if you're looking for a deck-switching gimmick. I've read comments on other venue by purists who say that gimmicks aren't necessary to do deck switches, and they're right. Any magician should learn several methods of achieving the same effect, including gimmick-less deck switches. But you know what? Cold Case still rocks -- why not have the best of both worlds: by all means learn how to do switches without gimmicks, but also have this powerful tool to enhance your magic; there's so much you can do with it. I also have the Cooler, which I love, but Cold Case is more versatile, especially for walking around; fits right in your pocket.

The advertisement says the vendor will include a passcode with the product to access an online tutorial which is necessary to use it. The vendor did not include this and when asked for that information they refused to provide the passcode.

I'm about six months into close up slight of hand magic. This is a slick effect to add into almost any routine. Shipped fast and a solid change effect.

I just received this for Christmas and was excited to use it in a routine. Unfortunately the code doesn’t work and I’m not sure how to get the correct code for the tutorial video. Seems someone else had this problem, so very disappointing!

The password that is on the box dose not work I have tried sevrel times and the code doesn't work so I have no idea how to do this and I'm very dissapointed
