A Great Cordless Drill Set
This is an excellent cordless drill set (battery and charger included). I have bought another battery, which fits in the case too, and they last for ages. Drilling into brick, block and wood is easy. A neat touch is the LED lamp on the drill which lights where you are drilling (simple but effective). The case is good too; well-made with good clips and foam inserts to protect everything. I am very pleased with mine.

Great torque
Previously had old Black and Decker 18v drills, used for years and no complaints. Recently had to replace them and found this one, had to drop the torque setting to minimum when driving a screw as the drill was starting to pull the shelf bracket into the plaster! Good drill, yet to try it on concrete but a very good replacement indeed. Would highly recommend. Only issue with the brushless motor is you seem to have half a second or so before it kicks in. Otherwise no issues.

Great bit if kit
Well made with all metal chuck that feels well made. Options of screw, drill of hammer with speed adjustment means it can do most things well.

Used for 3 days in the past year - stopped working while drilling holes in soft wood
I was initially impressed with the drill. Although it was used intensively for less than three days in the past year, it did what it had to do.Last week I was drilling holes in a piece of soft 1cm thick pinewood. The drill kept stopping at random intervals, and I would have to let go of the trigger and press it again. This continued happening over the space of 5 minutes, with the time that the drill would work without stopping getting shorter and shorter. At the end of the 5 minutes, the drill only jerks for about half an inch and then comes back to the original position, refusing to spin at all.1. I believed that the battery had gone dead, so I fully charged the battery and tried again. No luck.2. I believed that maybe the drill got overheated, although that was improbable keeping in mind the soft wood and the short time of continuous usage. So I left it to the side for a while and tried to see if it worked after a few days. Still no good.3. I got to the point where I believed that maybe one of the gears had snapped and that`s what is keeping the drill from going into a full rotation. So I opened it up and checked all the gears and ball bearings - surprise - completely intact with no sign of damage.4. Removed everything and only connected the actual motor to the battery pack - same issue, the motor would not spin more than half an inch and then abruptly stop. Conclusion - it would cost me £65 + customs to get a new motor from Einhell, as they deliver from Germany, which is more than half the price of a new drill, without the guarantee that once I fit the new motor it will work for longer than the last time.Timed used - roughly 24 hoursValue for money - 1/5
