This is a very beautiful kettle, and boils very quickly. Lovely design, and easy to keep clean. I like the on switch which turns blue when the kettle is switched on., and at the speed it boils, would consider it to be very energy efficient, plus not much water is needed to boil for a cuppa. Although I’m rather deaf, I do find it a little noisy when it starts to heat up, but that is a minor gripe. It’s also a very reasonable price for such good quality. Very easy to use, and I certainly would recommend It.

I liked the look of this kettle so I read the reviews, mostly positive compared to many others I had looked at, so this is the one I finally purchased. It's very lightweight when empty of course and even a full kettle of water (first time you use it you need to fill it up, boil and discard the water) it feels nicely balanced and not too heavy. The switch lights up but the viewing window for the water doesn't and it's pretty impossible to see, you have to give it a little shake to see the level; I was going to drop a star for that but because you can't have everything and a light up viewing window would cost more and may fail eventually I will leave the rating at 5 stars. The lid pops open very satisfyingly, I'm very happy with how wide it opens and the big button that opens it. The kettle of course has a filter in the spout that you can release and clean and then replace it. I really like the look of it, it looks pretty sleek, I wouldn't say it seems as robust as the kettle it's replacing which is 15 years old but that one is much heavier; I would say this one feels a little more delicate I don't think you should bash it around too much but nevertheless that means it's lighter so I'm happy about that. If you're really sick of looking at kettles I think your best bet is this one for the price, the look of it and the functionality it's all there, obviously let down by the viewing window; if that's really important to you then maybe look for something else but otherwise Morphy Richards Equip is a safe choice.

Looks nice, is quick, has a great price but it's noisy compared to a Russell hobbs quiet boil kettle.

Excellent kettle. A little noisy but fast boiler and very good pourer . Red version looks fab.

Sturdy kettle , rather heavy , nice looking . Works well , easy to fill too with button push lid I have only one downside it’s rather heavy , but that only because of weak hands . I actually would recommend it . Good price too .

The only kettle you should get is this one. I hardly ever leave reviews, but this kettle served me for years without breaking. I only changed it because the inner filter broke and limescale started pouring into my coffee. This time I bought the red one, and I have to say it looks metallic, whereas the cream colour looks much more elegant. As I said, if it weren’t for the limescale, I would never have changed it, even after having it for years. It is a bit loud, but it boils quickly and pours perfectly — I’m so glad with it. Forget other kettles out there. I’m only writing this to help you with your purchase because it took me a while to find the right kettle.

Great value kettle ! Boils fairly quickly and not noisy . Purchased last October but the black paint is coming off ! Very disappointed

A decent kettle for the price. It has a good water capacity at 1.7L and it's stainless steel rather than plastic. The upside of that means that the water tends to retain heat for longer than it does in a plastic kettle. On the flip side, the outside of the kettle gets extremely hot after boiling though this does not affect the handle, but it's something to be aware of if you have young children around. Not that they should be anywhere near a boiled kettle anyway. It boils quickly enough but I wouldn't say it's any quicker than any other mid-price kettle and it's pretty noisy in doing it. The lid releases with a button at the top of the handle but it doesn't go up quite as far as I'd like - only to about 60° so quite a bit short of vertical which might make filling awkward on some sinks/taps? There's a water gauge on the left side. It would be better if it had one on each side as I'm left-handed so when I put the kettle on the base, the gauge is to the wall and I have to turn it 180° to see. All in all though, minor niggles. Good kettle.

Superb quality . Best for the bucks. It looks lovely too in my kitchen. It has nice filter for teas, I loved it

Der Wasserkocher besticht durch sein Design. Allerdings kann man ihn nur mit einem Adapter in Deutschland benutzen, da er einen UK-Stecker hat!! Rücksendung des Artikels an den Verkäufer in UK geht zu Lasten des Käufers!!

This kettle came with a European plug so had to buy an adaptor. OK kettle though noisey.

Hierve muy rápido, pero es un poco ruidoso y, debido al ancho de la base, es difícil juzgar la pequeña cantidad de agua. Compré este porque tengo la tostadora a juego.
