Aquasense Adjustable Bariatric Transfer Bench with Armrest, Heavy Duty

I got this to replace a shower chair that was wearing out. It is working well so far. Although, be warned: go through the box thoroughly, screws are NOT bagged and easily lost. The fit is really tight in a standard size bathtub, so much so that I had to pair it with the Bridge Medical Telescoping Portable Grab Bar in order to use it safety(the tight squeeze wouldn't let me use the armrest). Also, the outer section that hangs over the tub is kinda wobbly. That could just be me, though. As an extra precaution...I also recommend a bathtub mat since this shower chair does NOT come with suction cup feet to hold it to the bathtub.Update: Rust alert! Bolts under the main section rust with use and I've barely had it 6 months!Update 2: Bolt snapped connecting outer section to inner section ...replacing with another brand. My safety is too valuable to take chances.

Loved the quality and price of this item but it wouldn't work in my tub because my tub walls are higher than the length of the legs. Measure your tub first.

After having purchased a cheaper unit, I found it was not stable and I felt unsafe. This one is DEFINITELY the best! Very strong frame, very stable! I am very happy with this unit.

now thats a transfer bench that will hold up, not that frail thing that will not hold a small young adult!

No matter how I adjusted the legs, it needed shims.

The chair works very well for my needs for showering as an amputee. Have not had any problems as yet.

My father has a fear of falling and his previous bath chair started to get very wobbly and unsteady after just 2 months of use. This chair is very well made and very sturdy. He no longer has fear when bathing. Thanks for such a great product.
