My pool cover now looks like a dalmation with all these spots all over it. They do match, but they are noticeable when up close (from inside the house they blend in). All in all, a bunch of these was a lot cheaper than replacing the custom shaped pool cover that I have!

There are some small holes and a couple tears on my pool cover. A local pool guy quoted me $8000 to replace for a new one and I said no thank you. These patch seems just patched the holes very well. As to the tear, not sure if they will stay as there will be tension, and probably is not what they were designed to fix, but it seems at least it serves as a good patch. I'll find that out in the winter but seems redo it every year is still beat the other option.

I bought these a couple of months ago. I bought the three large ones. I think they were 12” by 8” but I’d have to look at the ad again. Anyways, I used two of them on a large hole on the cover, doing both sides. I discovered two other smaller holes (very tiny) and decided as a preventative measure, to patch them too. They are easy to cut and round the edges so there is less of a chance of them peeling off. They are easy to work with. I recommend them.

The waxed paper is hard to remove and in the process you may pel out the sticky part. Otherwise it worked OK. I will try the patch once I cover the swimming pool this fall if it holds up OK.
