Actually enjoyed reading this quick and clear approach to ABGs.Clever, concise, and practical. Down to earth and not intimidating.

I'm a senior pediatrics resident and I found this book very useful to not only solidify basic concepts of ABG but also to identify wonderful teaching pearls for medical students and interns. A very quick read if you're already familiar with blood gases

I'm a register nurse and find that the book was very informative. The book is a must read if you do bedside nursing.

Simple, easy to understand!

I must admit that I bought this book mainly because it was cheap and I was looking for an emergency explanation post-consultant grilling and couldn't get to the library... However, I was very surprised! Good clear and simple explanations, also going into the underlying physics, chemistry and physiology. Really helpful and I feel quite confident to tackle such problems in exams, on the wards and hopefully, one day, when I finally make it to being a doctor :)

I was struggling to interpret the ABGs before. Every time I saw results of my patients ABG...it looks like complicated to me and I can not interpret them properly. But this book help me to easily and quickly interpret the ABGs results. I thought it was really hard to understand. Now, i find it easy...ABG is now a peace of cake to me.

Excellent book covering ABG. Nice teaching style and way of communicating concepts and simple explanation of things that many make complicated. Highly recommended.
