Hammer Flat & Cross-Peen Goldsmith Hammers for Silversmith and Jewelry Making by JTS

Was a bit surprised as to the quality of this hammer. With the pricing my expectations were kinda low. It's a great little hammer. Really believed I would be buying again at a much higher price, but not the case. I'll wear this one out before getting another.

This is a very handy little hammer and seems to be well made. Regarding the review about the hammer leaving marks on the metal, that is the nature of a flat-head hammer, which this is clearly disclosed as being. My experience is that riveting hammers usually have slightly domed heads instead of flat, so they are less inclined to leave marks.

Quality hammer that I use for forming jewelry pieces (I make a lot of findings). It is a bit on the small side; but then again, I work on very intricate components.Highly recommend

After not too much use, the edge of the flat part chipped off. This would mar the rest of the silver im working on.

My go to hammer for making copper flowers.

I purchased it for a very specialized application as part of my grab bar installation services
