Tutu/Tulle skirt
Love the 6 layers making it very full & pretty, elastic waist makes it comfortable with easy on/off, beautiful fabric with quality and softness, the added satin bow adds the perfect touch

Pretty
I bought several of these skirts: grey, dark green, burgundy, dark grey and only kept the dark grey. I felt the colors were much lighter in person than they appear on screen. The burgundy was the most disappointing. I thought the satin part looked more like dark red, maybe a scarlet red than burgundy. The tulle part was red not even scarlet red and in fluorescent light it looked like a bad pink. The dark green looked close to a primary green. The tulle is soft, I don't know if it's a true tulle fabric. But it was sheer and not the stiffer kind you find on a ballerina tutu. Still very pretty. I usually wear a small or medium in a skirt but I found the elastic tight and confining in the medium. I guess that's what happens when it's supposed to accommodate a wide range of waist sizes. I ended up getting a L and the waist was more comfortable for my needs, the skirt full and fluffy.

Black looks costume-ish...Dark Gray is more elegant, satin sash is a joke.
I bought two of these in 2 different colors. Black and Dark Gray. I believe one was an XL and the other a Large and the Large fit me best (less bulk) with a 35-36" waist, time of the month depending. The Gray looks elegant, the black looks chintzy, and costume-ish, or perhaps petticoat-ish. I own a black crinoline and it looks a little too much like that. I returned the black, which is funny because I tend to love everything in black best.I kept the gray and did not wear it to my event, but I think I will have an opportunity to wear it in the future. It's either semi-formal appropriate or thrash-punkish, with combat boots or converse kicks and a t-shirt.The sash cheapens it. I might sew it on to look smooth at my size/expansion of the elastic. Then it may be nice. Or a lovely medium sized patented leather or velvet belt. But because the satin is thick and wide, it's very difficult to tie it nicely and it drags down the look of the skirt to costume quality. So omit it for a more polished look. But the right top/sweater and some lovely pumps and great accessories and this Dark Gray skirt can pass for a nicer end of casual to semi-formal event. Dazzle it up girls with a velvet or satin top for your prom, include an up do or curls, cute clutch purse, eye catching belt, petite diamond print sheer nylons and sparkly jewels and viola! Prom Queen!

Very snug in waist
Cute skirt. Waist is a little tight and makes skirt have a strange flare off of waistband. Don't think next size up would fix it

Better than expected!
I am actually very happy with the quality. As others have said, I wish the ribbon was somehow attached but that is so minor. I can’t wait to wear this skirt as part of one of my outfits for Disney!
