I don't know why it took me 20 years to buy a roof-harness system but now I have one. Having a permanent anchor on the peak means I'm safe every time I go up to clean the gutters, chimney, sweep the roof, power wash the siding. I love it.

While reroofing our house, I placed these on the ridge for safety concerns. You can hardly see them and will be usable, in the future, when I need to get on the roof.

These should be standard on any roof. I use fall protection any time I’m working around the outside of my house and off the ground.

Shipped fast, comes with appropriate nails in the appropriate quantity. Very convenient.

The double D design allows nailing it under the ridge cap which makes it accessible from both sides of the pitched roof. It comes with 8 nails that secure it well. This does require a harness with rope to tie off to the D ring.

I installed this on my steep sloped roof to use with a safety harness in order to do roof repairs and cleaning gutters.
