LolliBeads(TM) Silver Plated Barrel Leather Cord Ends, Lobster Clasp and Extension Chains Kits Assorted Pack (60 sets)

I have the large, silver-tone assortment.I wanted to make some wrap bracelets with faux suede and also possibly use these for macrame. But, I had no idea what size of cord ends to get. So I bought this, figuring I could try all the different sizes until I understood what I needed. It's exactly what I needed.I am not an expert so I couldn't say whether these are really silver-plated or just silver-tone. I am not looking to sell anything I make (may give some as gifts in the future) so that is of less concern to me. What I wanted this for was to figure out what size of cord ends I would use in various situations and it has been perfect for that. I like that it comes with clasps. I probably won't use the chain extenders since I am making jewelry for myself and can just make things the appropriate length for my own wrist. But, they are there if you need them. You will also want either two pairs of pliers (round nose or similar, something with narrow tips) or a single pair of pliers and a jump ring tool in order to open and close the jump rings (and I am glad some are included here, in various sizes).The ends of my bracelets are a bit flat, whereas these are round. I am securing the ends in place with a bit of glue (using "glue" as a generic term as I have tried a couple of different adhesives, all of which have worked for me so far). Regular old super glue is fine. I don't crimp them because the metal doesn't seem to hold up. But it helps to choose the smallest size of cord end that will securely hold what you've made (which is what makes this kit great).Anyway, rather than spending any more time obsessing over what size of ends to buy for my faux suede wrap bracelets, I'm glad I bought this. And the added bonus is that I can do macrame with different thicknesses of cord and also find ends here that would be appropriate for those pieces.

I wasn't sure if I would be happy with this product since the description doesn't specify what kind of metal everything is made out of. Overall the quality is satisfactory. The jump rings aren't the strongest out there(304 stainless steel is a bit stronger) but they are much stronger than the rest of the cheap kits on here. Everything in this kit has worked great to my surprise and I would recommend this purchase. So far nothing has turned my skin green and I tend to have that problem with anything cheaper. This a good quality kit for a very fair price.

Most of the items in this package are good-- the end caps, the connector chains, the jump rings (although there are way too many teenie ones for my purposes). The problem is with the assorted split rings...I would estmmate 50% of them would not open, and believe me, I tried more than once to get them to open.

Great presentation, awesome variety of caps, and lots for the price. However, even though it states silver plated, typically it should last a few weeks before the finish begins to wear off. That isn’t the case. If you are buying this set to make jewelry for clients, don’t buy! If you are buying to make the product for yourself and don’t mind applying a little nail polish time to time, then this is the right purchase for you.

This bothered me so much that I never wrote about it until now. I had always bought this brand LolliBeads, with this I did not buy more. Is irresponsible!

Purchased for wife, she say's: Comes complete with two sized clasps three sizes of jump rings, short clasp chains. And the tiny drop charms you can add to the closure chain for embellishment. There are more than enough sizes of cord ends, they are well made. And should last for a long time. I am glad I purchased this. It is very handy as I don't have to look through my supplies for all my findings, as they are all in one container. Very good brand of costume jewelry closures.

I really like how the product is presented, the little box, welll organized, the variety allows for all kind of designs, excellent product so far !!!

I was surprised that the quality of the findings were as good as they were considering the price. And the shipping was fast too.

This is a review for the first lot purchased. Good product used for necklace making. Not tarnished after months of testing and the colour remains silver.Second batch, tinge of yellow so not silver plated, in my opinion. Not sure if I'd order again because of the issue with the second batch.

Bought these along with a length of leather as it works out much cheaper to make your own leather neck thong for hanging pendants, will never buy ready made again really pleased with my purchase and would recommend

What a great little set of findings, very generous in amounts. I like the case a lot, and it is packed full with so many things to use. I've already made a kumihimo bracelet with the end caps, jump rings, chain and clasp. I can easily make dozens of things with this kit.
