Fuel cell
Needed a good fuel cell for our race Blazer as really didn’t need the sender. No leaks at any of the seams that were welded. Only complaint was all the fitting were 10an as only really needed was 8an but 10an to 8an adapters took care of that issue

Holds fuel, works great
Put this in my 1980 cressida as the old tank was full of rust. The bolt holes on the tank made it easy to mount. Only thing I don't like is the refuel cap, it's a bit finicky and can be a pain sometimes.

Well built
Put on a old case tractor factory tank full of rust. So far working good!

Almost perfect.
If the legs of the tank allowed you to mount this tank to a flat surface it would be best. Unfortunately the bottom where the fuel lines hook up are lower than the mounting legs causing me a little extra work to mount this unit.

A great bang for buck
The welds are straight fire, there were so many dimes stacked on it that I thought I was gonna get my money back also the lid is very easy to open. The AN nipples had a really nice lips so your fuel line does not slip off under high pressure. My biggest complaint is the ridiculous amount of packaging foam that is inside of the tank but I guess it was done with the best intentions because the item came in without a single scratch.

fuel sender will only measure the top half of the tank
3.5 starsseems like a nice little tank but the fuel sender for the 5 gallon will only measure the level of the fuel for the top 4" of the tank. The float sender is designed for a MUCH shallower tank. When the gauge reads empty, there will still be 4" of fuel in the tank. At least that is what was installed in the tank that was shipped to me. Also, I read of someone else who bought one of these tanks and had the same problem. Gauge showed empty when the tank was still half full. Also, I don't think it's possible to buy a similar float level sender that will fit the hole that the crappy one normally occupies. I bought a completely different style sender and wish I had just paid the extra money and bought a fuel cell tank that came with a good sending unit. Also the foam that came in the tank is a complete joke. literally it was a piece of foam that measured maybe 7"x7"x2".This tank is basically the same as all the other ones that look identical. The only good thing about this one is that it's the cheapest. But if you want a decent level sender, it's best to just buy it already installed rather than adding it afterwards.
