What are the best guns to buy with it?

I am using it with Colt 45 Western style revolvers. However, be warned. This is not very high quality. I only bought it for display purposes. If you try to use it as a regular holster set, it will not hold up well. Also, it will only fit a small waist (like a child's). That's why it is cheap. If you need to use a holster set for anything else, you will need to get real leather, which is much more expensive. Dennis...

Will it fit a heritage 22lr 6-6 1/2" barrel

It should. I was rather disappointed in the quality of this holster. However, If you are using it for a one night costume it would be fine.
