Beautiful, Quality Bible Gift
Initially bought as a gift for me, bought another as a gift when mine was admired. Recipient to this day really loves using this Bible and appreciates the wide margins. Also easy to markup with notes using archival quality pens. Font size is small (and growing smaller!) but a magnifying bookmark is sufficient to continue enjoying this Bible for years to come. Lovely black leather, too.

Great Bible. I'm a seminary student and this Cambridge Wide Margin in Calf Split is my personal work horse alongside the Cambridge Pitt Minon which uses the exact same textblock but obviously shrunken down. I've made my way through four or five books of the Bible and several accompanying commentaries for each one, jotting in notes and my own personal reflection and commentary in the margins, which are a very nice size for writing. I write my notes with a 0.5 mechanical pencil. I have taught out of this Bible a couple of times. The Calf-split leather is very stiff, which for the application of writing in the margins and teaching out of, I personally prefer over the floppy goatskin cover. Cambridge makes quality Bibles. This isn't a $300 RL Allan or a $200 Schuyler, but it isn't too far behind.

Quality, quality and quality
This is a well made bible that will last a life time. Binding, cover, paper and margin size are excellent. Reference verses and concordance are very well done and high in number. No bleed throught from my hand written notes. Quality is top shelf!I only would change 2 style issues. My eyes wish the font was slightly larger but the quality and clearity of the print offset the font size. Paragraph styling makes it slight more difficult to find a single verse rather than verse by verse format. But I am quickly adapting, I only wish I had purchased this bible sooner!

Great Bible
Very nice Bible. I love the wide margins with plenty of room for notes. The only thing I don't like about it is that the writing is separated by paragraphs instead of by verses. It can make it difficult sometimes to find the exact verse.

Excellent Resource for Study and Preaching!
The cross references are actually useful! They explore biblical themes in a coherent manner rather than focusing on details that add little to understanding the passage. The margins are sufficient to allow me to put my short sermon notes right in the Bible so that it's all I need in the pulpit with me. The journal pages are great for when I'm able to hear another pastor preach, and you can even index your notes! This is a great resource!

Bible
I have only had this Bible a few days, but so far I love it. At first I thought the margins were too big, then realized they're just right. The font is a little small, but works out OK. You can tell by the look and feel it is a high quality Bible.

Beautiful wide margin NKJV Bible
I LOVE this Bible! I bought this Bible three years ago from Amazon who offers a great Price and love it more every year! I love having a wonderful concordance in the back plus extra pages for notes or lists. I am keeping a list of the names of God/Jesus when I find them.

Built to last
I needed a new pulpit Bible, that would not fall apart in 5 years. On advice, I invested in a Cambridge Bible, and so far, am not disappointed. I usually use large print, and this edition is not, but the type face, the ink and opacity of the page make it just as readable as a regular large-print Bible. It handles well, takes notes that do not bleed, and has the most righteous black leather cover I ever did see.

Ultimately a disappointment
I’ve had this Bible for a few years. It’s strong, well made, the pages themselves are excellent, leather is high quality. With that said, I so desperately wanted to love it, but the text size is a major flop like this is a total dealbreaker. I can’t imagine how people who have poor eyesight deal with this. I no longer use it much, it sits on my shelf as a dust collector, maybe I could use it for online courses, I dunno, but Cambridge could maybe consider a major improvement on a larger text size.Edit: I started using it again, had to learn to make smaller notes and ease into it and get used to it, that part possibly takes some getting used to. But yes, the font is too small.

Disappointed with the size of the text
Very disappointed with the size of the text and the lack of any real inside margin. Another disappointing feature is the way the text is push together into paragraphs, instead of retaining the verse separation; which makes it very difficult to read. These factors plus the fact that this edition has “red letter” instead of “normal” text makes it, overall, a very disappointing Bible.
